Thank God for Muscletech....?
« on: February 09, 2007, 05:56:55 AM »
This has got to be the most hilarious shit I've ever seen. A herd of bodybuilders telling their stories about how Muscletech have help them achieve greatness. Wait a freaking second, shouldn't they be talking about the latest Gears on the market? That would have been more worthy. Instead, they have a round table, and talking about shit....hahaha. Another muscletech's misleading campaign

It's neither steroids or supplements, it's genetics.

Each and everyone of them started COMPETITING at an early age - branch at 17, chris cormier at 16, jackson at 16 etc.

Me and my buddies are taking those Muscle-Tech Steroids, bro. We'll look like Jay Cutler soon. Mark my words, bro. I got a good PCT to come off it too. It's all good, bro.

I won't say too much incase the feds are watching.

lol....in this day and age, it bothers me that these bloated pigs are still bullshitting  the general public about supps and drugs. God forbid somebody doesn't know anything about pro bodybuilding, One would believe that getting that BIG AND RIPPED is because of some supplements, that's very misleading

Misleading to whom? Where are these alleged legions of people whom MuscleTech (or any other supplement company) is allegedly fooling? Go to some people in the "general public", show them pictures of a bodybuilder and see how quickly the word "Steroids" flies out of their mouths.

If anything is misleading, it's your claim (or your implying) that "we need to know the gears that blow them up like that". That's what the average Joe on the street thinks: All it takes is a syringe or two (or five) and you end up being a pro bodybuilder. Forget diet, hard and smart training, supplements, or genetics.

I refer you the late Dan Duchaine, the "Steroid Guru". How many Mr. Universe titles did he win?

Dan Duchaine was not a bodybuilder neither, what's your point?.

Dan Duchaine was not a bodybuilder neither, what's your point?.

Judging from his physique, I'm tempted to say you're right. He gave it the old college try, that's for sure.

He became the "Steroid Guru", because his competitive aspirations didn't quite go as he'd hoped. Yet, he recommended lots of potions to other bodybuilders. But, for some strange reason, his mantle was not littered with trophies. Go figure.

As for MuscleTech, let's go back to its first guinea pig, Greg Kovacs. Time after time we were told how that he weighed 240, before he got serious about training? Numerousarticles described his diet, which would feed the average family of six (with leftovers). Then, there's the supplements he took BEFORE he joined MuscleTech (i.e. MET-Rx, Whey protein from a local Canadian trainer, Gunnar Sikk).

Where was this "misleading"? Where are the claims that his size resulted solely because of Muscletech's goodies?

MCWAY, the people supplement companies prey on is the first time buyers, real beginners. Sure, they all learn later down the road but if millions of beginners, or thousands decide to take up something a buy only one container of something, well, you figure it out 1000 customers purchasing a tub of whey for £20...by that time the supplement company doesnt care if they come back they've made enough..alls they need to do is put some fancy, glossy reflective packaging on in a bright color and say ''this will build muscle!'' or ''100% pure'' even if 10g of the 900g is pure, then it holds some water...I bought into the hype when I started, probably wasted a little cash in process. Of course, its rediculous when you look back but without guidance no one is sure. Example, when I first started training I didnt know potassium and sodium regulate fluid balance. I didnt know about complex carbs.
