he said all he did was get a trainer (author i assume), take Omacore (rx fish oil), and green tea.  He also said he ate a couple cans of green beans a day along with his diet - lower carb. He said he got real pooped out one week and felt like shit so they had to bring his carbs back up a bit.

Too many carbs,too much fat at each meal (calorie dense),and drop the yogurt and Milk+Egg protein, and use whey mixed in plain water.

I won't use the yogurt 8 weeks out.  Its mainly a clean-up diet for now.  I'll use whey protein until 4 weeks out and then rely only on tuna and chicken.

where is the metrolina?  I seem to remember TA being at the Elite which Vince competed in so are they local to each other?  If so and you are at 3-4% BF right now why not get onstage TA?  It would be interesting to see how a lifetime natty would fare.  You're already in shape so the hardest part is done for you, you've watched Rusy's "how to pose" vid so you should be able to put together a routine....this could be very informative.

maybe this has been covered in the thread and if so I'm sorry but how tall and how much do you weigh right now Vince?  What's your BF and did you get a LBM reading?  Where exactly is the metrolina?  Would you welcome TA entering the show?

I weigh around 209 pounds right now and I am around 9% bf.  My intercoastals are showing as well as my abs but I'm actually running a bit behind right now but with the twice a day cardio routine, it won't be an issue



The NPC Metrolina is a national qualifier and its a great show to compete and attend.  Its ran by Roger Morrison and he puts on a great show for all of his events.  I drive sometimes up to 4 hours to his shows because he treats everyone fair, even my goofy ass. 


I would prefer that I remain anonymous about the events I compete in but its good for ticket sales and if people in NC or SC want to go or compete to a show that's ran properly, on time, without any BS then they should go to a Roger Morrison show.  He takes care of the competitors and he takes care of the audience.  You basically get your money's worth


I compete because I enjoy it.  I can no longer actively wrestle as Venom Vince Versace so its a good way to still entertain people.  I train very hard at every show I do but I still have fun on competition day.  When the works done, regardless of the outcome you still have to have some fun.  I compete to win but the fans deserve to have some entertainment too.  Thus the infamous air guitar posing I did.

I go to all of the NC shows and I really feel sorry for this guy!  No hate, just pity.  The crowd is laughing their asses off every time he hits the stage.  I just wish he'd get it right.  At first (2005), I thought it was funny.  Two years later, it's really sad.

You have never dieted before, nor have you stepped onstage, so what qualifies you as being able to say this?
Vince comes on here (and every other board prior to being banned on them) and talks more shit than a Chinese radio, and never backs it up.

What many of you have to realize is that you cannot compare a pro with an amatuer, so stop thinking everyone can be a Shawn Ray or a Ronnie Coleman.  Start thinking amatuers and how compete their physique can be.

this is a perfect example of why you should have to QUALIFY FOR ANY BODYBUILDING SHOW, if it's your first show, you should have to show your physique to a judge and if the judge gives you the ok then you can get onstage, i've been to too many NPC local events where there were guys who were fat, untanned, hairy, skinny, no muscle, etc. who had absolutely no business being onstage, it should be a priviledge to compete not a right.
