I needed a 24 hour gym that I could do Cardio at.

I already belonged to a hardcore gym that has the 200lb dumbells and 100lb Olympic plates. But the place has 1 treadmill and I want to be able to do some cardio.

I use the one hundered pound plates for neck extensions.

I have rowed the 200lb dumbells for 4 reps before (usually go up to 170lb -180lb though)

Don't you know about their 'No Sweating' policy?

There are signs posted by all their cardio equipment with their list of policies.

1). NO sweating!
2). NO TRYING to lose bodyfat!
3). NO Focusing on your cardio...all members MUST read a novel from an accredited author or a publication outside of anything that has to do with health/fitness such as Betterhomes, In Fisherman and Cosmo.
4). NO water bottles! Only cans or bottles of SODA accepted.
5). No cardio session to ever exceed 15 minutes.

Why not just get a stationary bike for your house? That's what I do. Very convenient, and lets you cardio whenever you want. A few months of gym fee's and you could own a bike.

See as how I have run a Planet Fitness before I have to tell you guys another thing that I thought was totally stupid...Many of the locations got rid of their regular pre/post workout supplement drinks and their energy drinks...They replaced them with Coke-Cola, Rockstar energy, Gatorade, and many other like that....

on a serious note...I was told by the manager that the first monday of every month is pizza night.

and they dont sell protein bars...I asked and was told they dont sell them....but they do have a cannister of tootsie rolls at the front counter. I was told I could have some of those.

Planet Fitness??? I feel sorry for you. And something is definately wrong if your other gym only has one lousy treadmill.

It's what, $10 a month? No contracts, right?

That would be fine with me if I were training for a contest and my gym had no cardio.

Just make sure you're not doing high intensity intervals, you might grunt!

dude its 10 bucks a month and I can leave whenever...no questions asked.

PS- I aint doing jumping jacks for an hour...nor do I want to breath carbon monoxide for and hour as I walk on the streets.

sprints however is something that I will do....I will have to wait until it gets decent out and do it a a campgrounds nearby. (there is 3 feet of snow outside right now)

2 weeks ago...I go to this gym called 'XSport Fitness' and it was 'Member Appreciation Day' and there was a huge table set up with Donuts, Soda and Chips etc...

I wonder how many times a day the PF personal have to explain that there are no protein bars for sale? They have to get asked at least 20-30 times a day. There are sooooo many people that go there and more are signing up...it has to be annoying to keep trying to push the tootsie rolls.
