once again, you're completely off-base.
1) aichs did it without a belt and without knee wraps, as did bernor. find out what you can squat for 10 beltless and wrapless, then do it again with both and tell me what kind of a difference it makes.
2) repeat the above, except when you do the belted and squatted set, don't go down as far. if you think there's only aminor difference between over 750 pounds for five or six reps to parallel with no knee wraps and no belt, versus 10 reps with 675 not the whole way down with wraps and with a belt, then you're fucking retarded. period.
3) platz did not have his knees wrapped.
just something around his left upper thigh, which adds nothing. and don't try and tell me he's wearing a suit, this was way before a squat suit amounted to anything more than an ace bandage, IF he's wearing one.
4) JP Fux did 675 for i think five reps in his "Hardcore" video. and he was depleted for a contest.
