Not that I'm Mr. Huge, but I wouldn't touch anything till I've at least gained 60lbs naturally and have been lifting for 5-7 years consistantly.



thats what it comes down to..you feel some sorta ironager sentiment where i must put in my fair amount of work..

sorry mate i did that drug free from 15 thru 22..i'm not about to build a base all over again..

its the easy way out..yeah...many here do it..i just prefer honesty..

405 by 6 by summer and u struggle with 225 for 15 now. That's a crazy ass jump. but who knows what is possible with some muscle memory, neural learning and teh juice. A 90 pound jump is approx a 29% increase over 315.

If the target is to be acheived by the end of may, it comes out to an increase of 2.5% every week, assuming u dont take any weeks off.

The good news is that its not a 2.5% increase over the previous best, because the percentage gets lower as u progess.... so speaking striclty from percentages it should get easier to add weight each week in theory. But the bad news is that its still an 8 lb increase every workout  ;D

I wish you the best of luck, just reminding u that there's little room to slack off if the goal is being taken seriously.

good post...i'm still gonna aim for 405 for a few by june..

i'd never claim as such with ANY other bodypart..

with legs..i'll do it! :)

remember though..Bezerkfury is taking my post outta context and yall r falling for it..that ws 225 for 10 i struggled with..actually didn't even get 10..my first leg day in 5 yrs..i made a thread about it..of course..bezfury got his pannies in a bunch from me posting a pic thats NOT him ::) and took that quote out of context..


225 for 10ish for an ex smoker..his first training is DAMN good! :)

Actually, I agree with Garraeth 150%. The guy can't step foot in a gym without being on gear and now he has delusions of squatting 405 for 4-6 by June when he admits to struggling with 225 for 10 at this point. It's pretty pathetic and the criticism is more than warranted.

$600 isn't a lot but wasting test is wasting test. And when Count G asked you to post a video of you squatting 225 for 10 by Thursday you said that it's still a struggle for you. Or are you going to deny saying that and go back and edit your posts now?  ;D

i'm a fat ass, so maybe i don't count, but i've hit your squat goal drug free and i've never claimed i'm anything but an average newbie powerlifter. it's doable if you're willing to buckle down and get it done, the fact that you're taking gear to get a lift that's respectable but far from impossible without drugs is simply retarded.

i've hit 385 weighing 132 at a meet before..

i never said i'm not taking the easy way out..i AM..lol..why does everyone have such a problem with me tasking the easy route?

i have no problem with it..
