I think the overall message of the thread is:

Fat peoples lack of willpower is sickening but if you can motivate yourself and get thin, the last persons to complain are the people on this thread, except Vince Basile. He loves you fat and wants you to die.

What irks me is the simplistic thinking going on in the heads of the flotsam and pumpkin heads on Getbig. They think they know it all when it comes to obesity but the plain truth is they don't understand the phenomenon at all. It isn't as simple as having willpower and then the fat is gone. While knuckleheads believe this nonsense then I guess the attitudes will persist.

How on earth is anyone who is fat going to be saved by a thread that tries to humiliate them? Won't happen. All that is achieved is the muscle subculture continues to be seen as stereotyped thickheads and rightly so.

You only have to remember back to your school days or even kindergarten (if your memory permits)....who was the kid that was picked on and ridiculed....the FAT kid thats who.
The next question you might ask yourelf is "why the poor fat kid?"
The answer is because it is inately natural for us to feel revulsion and disgust for fatties, even as little children.
I think that the fact that normal people find lard arses an abomination should provide enough motivational food for thought to enduce some progression towards exercise and away from the nearest KFC outlet.

Uh, negative consequence (humiliation) leads to behavior change (lose weight for health) saves the fat person. That's how!

poor is a good call, because mostly these fat kids come from poor families, at least in europe.

rich people normally buy better food and care about their nutrition.

Fat rants (not from me)

There are times when the "Fat people" aren't the ones that are hated, they are the ones that hate! They are the ones that are mean! I want to be friends with these amazing, fantastic people that I know, and I think on some level they would like to stay my friends too.
However their bitterness over being FAT first, and single second is too much to bear! For me, and for others!
Whether it is a choice to be fat on their end OR whether its genetic, it is what it is!! Its been at least 5 yrs for each of them too!! I could write nothing, and wear normal every day clothes OR I could write something about myself and my own demons!! Either way, whatever I write they would take offence because they feel badly about themselves & of course whatever they read it is or was about them! Crazy.
Never was or is, although, it made me realize who my real friends are, they aren't the ones attacking me because I'm not "like" them.
Hmmm...so its not always one sided, and I suppose to be fair, this is more a rant against a few people who happen to be fat, vs. fat people ...
