That is a tough question - everyone has thier own ideas on that, and in various times in your life it changes.
Myself,
I especially enjoyed a movie called 'The Breakfast Club' and it still remains one of my favorites. Also, really enjoyed the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy, excellent movies. But there are a lot more, I just can't remember them at the moment.

Persoanlly...there's better performed movies....but how can you rate a 'greatest movie' without looking at the residuals. This one took the movies light years forward. W/O this movie...LOTR would have sucked ass.
