She's in the midst of a mid-life crisis that started with her hooking up with Arvilla, getting a boob-job, geting into fitness, and dropping everything and moving to Florida on a whim, and she's not done yet. She could win the whole show, go to nationals, get a pro card, and wind up on the cover of Flex and she STILL wouldn't have her self-esteem issues worked out. That would require professional help IMO.

Hell, neither is she. As a first timer, instead of going into a level I, II, or maybe even a III, she jumps right into a level V.

Hey Everyone!!! I'm back. And although I didn't cure cancer...I did place, in the Open Level in fact.

I placed 5th and I'm very happy about it as like everyone has said "it is a level V show" and I wasn't quite a level V competitor. I did my best, had a great time and then I placed. As far as the Masters. The expeditor came out and called "Fitness over 40 up next" when he meant "figure over 40", therefore I did not go back stage and was not there when they called me out. Soooooooooo, I was disqualified for not being there for the judging. They appologized emphatically, but there was nothing they could do. I am glad I decided to "try" the open, otherwise it would have been a wasted effort this time around. There were a lot of beautiful girls, but I feel I held my own considering it was my first time ever stepping foot on stage.

This experience was wonderful. I enjoyed myself so much and wasn't the least bit nervous. I wiill definitely be doing the June show as well. Be warned though ... it too is a level V show.

As Midlife crisis's go....Laura's looks damn good! She set a goal; worked her ass off; and succeeded. (It takes any woman a healthy amount of self esteem to get up on a stage in a bikini.)
