I am a professional bodybuilder, too.

My mate Adonis, the true one, recently announced that he is using the rules of Duetto re his duel with some guy who poses for the gay scene. Those rules are quite ancient by today's standards.

Likewise, I am claiming professional status because I own a gym. In NABBA you were considered a professional bodybuilder if you owned a gym. I have owned a gym since August 1971 in Sydney, therefore I am a professional bodybuilder. The recent IFBB Pro status is a sham and many guys receive their cards for local, political reasons.

I don't need any blue stars. Matter of fact, if Goodrum is awarded those stars for competing in some less than novice category show that will diminish completely any respect those stars once stood for.

Adonis, finish reading Karl Popper and you will be ready for DOMS persistency training. You will blow these guys away.

I had a mild workout last night to prepare myself to compete in the Masters track and field in 3 weeks. My body transformed over night. It is amazing what training can do for the body. Lots and lots of sets with a maximum resistance is the formula. Just make sure the exercises result in DOMS and you should grow rapidly. Retrain the muscle before the DOMS reduces too much. That means every 3rd or 4th day at the latest. Don't train more than a few muscles per week.

I wonder if a guy my age could get his pro card and do it completely naturally and without taking any supplements whatever? I think it is possible. What a pity I tore a biceps way back in 1977 doing a stupid deadlift with 509 pounds. Not enough warmup during a cold evening. If I had two good arms I would definitely have a go.

Karl Popper was a genius. Many tried to show he was mistaken re his philosophy of science but neo-Popperians have resurrected his status and he still has a good standing in this discipline. Too bad more blokes here don't read Popper. They might stop making asses of themselves and be more tolerant of others.

The one thing Popper stressed is that almost all theories are false. That definitely applies to theories about muscles and other people. Plainly most people here don't know much about hypertrophy and the default is to be clueless about who other people are.

Hey, Basile, just a quick question, here: if you know all the true nuts & bolts re hypertrophy, how come haven't you become a multi-title holder in bb shows, or at least a decent build to go along your "know the holly grail of bodybuilding" persona?

Don't give me the crap about your torn biceps, that is not an excuse...lots of guys bounced back from horrendous injuries in our sport, you are just another guy who was stuid in the gym....

You used to make decent posts here 2 years ago.....now it seems you are just a poor senile guy who can't help but recollect about the past and the good ole days.....Vince, the senile......pitty.

No, Mr Moore, Adonis has written to me asking for some help. That was some time ago.

Then why don't you 2 lunatics exchange the "pearls of knowledge in bodybuilding" through Private Messaging ?? That's why this resource was created for: to save our minds from insanity of twilight zone caliber.....

Just a friendly advice, why would you want to associate your name with someone like Adonis, a guy that proves time and time again how seriously mental sick he is, unfortunately.....

Another poor soul in the twilight zone.....

Please give reasons for your opinion. So far you have provided nothing but irrational hate.

Gary Busey would be ashamed of you >:(

Adonis is very smart but why do you refer to him as "Adonix"?

Because Gary Busey named him Adonix. Gary told Debussey this. Debussey follows Garys advice.
