I have to give Lee props.

There's a lot of Pro's that say one thing around the gym circle & in front of the powers to be...say another.

Lee's opinion never changes. He's not a nut hugger & does business...his way instead of being a corporate puppet.

Was it the best for his career? I guess we'll see...but the extra publicity didn't seem to hurt. The true testament will be seeing how he places in future contests with the IFBB he goes that route. There's been many pro's that switched federations & tried coming back only to be black listed.

Lee may have realised he made a mistake going to the pdi, but hes a stand up dude and i firmly beleive he did it for the right reasons, to improve the sport. i think he may have just realised that with the monopoly the ifbb has, it aint gonna be that easy

The only time there was, was from the WBF...McMahon had the firepower and the money to make a legitimate competitor...thats what it would take, not a bunch of amateurs, no money or contracts, no sponsors,no magazine, no website, and no presence in the US.

exactly, McMahon had loads of money to throw at guys like Strydom, Baker, Comerford, etc. but it doesn't seem like the money is there for the PDI.

na i guess ya right, i was just thinkin from a fans standpoint. now if there was an external body which made the rules like there is in business stopping monopolisation of a particular sector like in the case of Microsoft (not that that did much good) then we could have a much fairer business
