why wouldn't I ?

everybody can improve. The fact is that the kid is arguing with a guy like Joe who once had a great physique ( and is still pretty big) while he has been traning for a year and doesn't have 1/20 of the experience that Joe has

Joe is an idiot. He believes in angels, fairys and thinks Unicorns grazed in fields with people and Dinosaurs.  Sorry, but you cannot take any Creationist serious when their level of intelligence regarding Science stops at a 1st grade level.

IMO, people can believe whatever they want, it doesn't make them stupid.

Joe achieved a great physique so he must know a thing or two about training and nutrition don't you think ?

You would just find a way to discredit them somehow.
You alot like Evangelical Creationist Christians.  No matter what the truth and the EVIDENCE proves, you will always believe the opposite or formulate some sort of wacknut opinion.

Is that your word of the day?

I have used a slightly modified form of big Daves diet for a competion that Iam currently prepping for. High protien, moderate fats and low carbs and can say it is great, I have more energy and am harder and fuller than any type diet I have ever used.  I gave myself 12 weeks to prep and cant believe how fast Iam getting ready.  Usually I end up having to do more cardio at this point, but on Daves diet Iam ready at 3 weeks out!  So I will just coast in and not have to lose all that muscle like before at this point from severe calorie restriction and excess cardio.

My mods are just a touch more carbs, which I kept very simple I use just oatmeal (30g at first meal) and sweet potatos (30g split into 3 portions through day, which means about 2 bites per meal), some carbs in the peanut butter and almonds I eat too, but not many.  Beef, chicken and salmon are the protien about 8-10 oz. each meal. And always almonds or peanut butter with my whey shakes.  I can say that I have not been overly hungry or craving anything on this diet.  I think I will keep a similar diet all the time.

You must train your body to burn fats for energy and this worked well.

Where's the fiber?  Eating like this would leave me constipated for sure.

anybody dieted that way before ?

high protein/ medium fat / very low ( almost nothing at all ) carbs

here is his ¨basic¨ diet

Meal 1 6 whole Omega-3 eggs
Meal 2 8oz chicken with 1/2 cup raw almonds
Meal 3 50g whey with 2 tablespoons all natural peanutbutter
Meal 4 8oz salmon with 1 cup asparagus with 1 tablespoon macadamia nut oil
Meal 5 50 g whey with 2 tablespoon PB
Meal 6 6 whole eggs

that's barely nothing, they must be hungry all day long
the only thing I don't like is the 2 shakes of whey protein, If I dieted that way I'd eat some chicken or fish instead to feel like you actually have something in the stomach

It seems to work tho ! Palumbo and his clients all have insane conditionning

::)

Your calories are minimized by the elimination of the majority of one Macronutrient.  The diet is nothing special.

This diet proves that Palumbo relied HEAVILY on drugs to look as shitty as he did.

Six whole eggs every morning can't be good for your cholesterol.  Also, shouldn't there be some form of guick carbs after workout?

The Palumbo contest diet makes more sense then any dieting method out there...it is far more efficient then any other dieting method.

1. You have zero carbs in your diet, so you have no glucose to pull from for energy, therefore your body enters a state of ketosis providing an unlimited supply of energy...you're not going to run out of ketone's.

2. There are no fluctuations in energy levels, no insulin spikes, none of the rollercoaster feelings associated with other styles of dieting.

3. Mental clarity is actually enhanced for the reasons laid out in #1...there is no shortage of energy, therefore zero interference with mental abilities.

4. On a typical 'low carb" diet or where carbs are cycled between high/low/medium days, on the low medium days when the body is accustomed to having glucose on hand and it reaches a point to where it is running on empty, it then in turn pulls its needs directly from muscle tissue...therefore sacrificing muscle size. On this diet (Dave's) once the body is in ketosis (after the initial 3-4 days) the body then only relies on ketone's (fats) for its energy requirements...this will spare muscle loss to a great degree.

5. The body does not need carbs to function. Yes, they have their place, but are far more suited when one is looking to pile on mass. Carbs are nothing more then an energy source, fats are also an energy source, but when utilizing fat as the sloe source on a diet, one escapes the perils of a low carb diet.

**6. These dieting principles applie to both naturals as well as enhanced dieters...drugs do not change the way the body works in this regard. The purpose of drugs (AAS) is to enable you to do what you're already doing correctly, more efficiently.
