These two restaurants are now in my area and are about a 1/4 mile from each other....

If you had to pick one...which one would you choose

You can't go wrong with the Outback, I love eating there.
Never tried the Texas Roadhouse, sounds like a gay bar from the movie BrokeBack
mountain.

The Texas Roadhouse near me in Massachusets New Hampshire border kicks ass.
Not only free shell peanuts but you get to pick your own steak if you want before they cook it.
Awesome filet.
Outback is good too but its just way too much food usually.

sorry, mike. have to disagree on this one. roadhouse has an awesome 16 oz sirloin that kicks ass. ive never had a bad steak there. plus, i get 30% off the bill cause im mr delaware!!! lol!!!!!

As far as i know we do not have Texas Roadhouse in Southern Cal...As for Outback, the food and service is consistent from the West Coast to the East Coast. I was working for Black Angus in the 80's and i remember we had a HUGE meeting about this new steakhouse that was coming to town...Outback. Quite a few Black Angus' have closed in the recent years...too much competition, i think .

Well first off outback isn't australian owned....so outback wins there...outbacks steaks are never frozen and they are usda prime...roadhouse uses usda choice...if you know anything about steak, outback becomes the automatic winner...if you've never tried outbacks chocolate cake either, next time you go there get that shit cus it is straight up amazing...anyways outback wins hands down...(i also get 50 percent off cus i used to work there and my bro still does...)

Lone Star is horrendous. The one time I went there I ended up having to wait almost 3 hours for a seat and my steak and when it got there it was burned beyond belief. Never went again.

Outback by a mile. A nice steak with the Kukkaburra wings is amazing.
