dude, name ONE other aspect in life where you get bonus points because you "tried really hard". in any competition someone can half-ass it and still win even if someone inferior busts his ass for it. he put his all into the contest, it just so happens his all looks like a coma patient that got hit in the face with a rake.

I didn't say he should get extra points for trying hard.  But that being said you can control what goes on in a judges head. No matter how scientific they try to be, there perspective is going to be skewed by their personal opinions of the contestant, by politics, by popularity. It happens all the time in contests that are judged. There is no way around it. I really dont see whats wrong with it, for example would you want say a former sex offender to win the title of the Olympia even if he has the best body. Shouldn't character count for something.

My point about Adonis putting a lot of heart into the competition and the web designers as well, was to point out why Phoun should have thought about stepping down. It sort of like these pro singers on american idle that have done back up singing for some really big stars and now they are here competiting with welfare workers who sing in the shower. Yea their following the rules, but damn give the true amatuers a break.

Isn't what Adonis and guys like you and Heckler doing now, the post-contest version of the above statement?

I dont see it. Were just protesting. And I thought Heckler was Adonis.

This is a very wrong argument. Exceptional situations warrant separate, contradicting rules and you can't justify something by pointing out what'd get done in an exception. There were no sex offenders or national heroes. It was a simple bodybuilding contest between normal people.

What is a 'true' amateur? If the 'pros' who sing are really pros, then they don't need American Idol (not 'Idle' BTW ;D) to get a break. If they need to sing in American Idol, they are not pros.

There is an add campaingn here in NY for that orange county housewife reality show. They are calling it the real American 'Idle'.. Very clever.

Anyway, some of the singers have made a living doing backup singing for the likes of Tina Turner, Michael Jackson, etc. and probably have survived off the pay. Others have never been paid for singing. I would say the pro is someone who makes a living  for a time at a particular disipline. Now it gets into a gray area with bodybuilders because they don't make substantial amounts of money in anything. But thats not the amatuers fault, is it?. I would think a pro would be embarrassed to compete with amatuers.

It's all academic anyway.

Ps Adonis was gifted 2nd to begin with. Bast and Daddywaddy both crushed him.

He has no muscle. If everyone came in exactly the way they did last year but they ALL took the time and effort that Adonis did with his contest pics, he's 4th. And that's not a dig, it's the truth.

Thats interesting, considering NOBODY was even near my score given by the judges.  Truly you are biased against me.

They didn't present themselves nearly as well as you did, which is their own fault.

But if they did the scores would have been different IMO.

that's up to mindspin - he handles rules and judges, I handled promotions and prizes.  Keeping them separate again.

IMO, pros shouldn't be allowed in, this time.  but i don't get a vote. :)

did you ever see fight club?

maybe heckler doesn't know that he is adam. The heckler started showing up after the getbig contest and the massive meltdown adam had.  "Heckler" is just his feable mind grasping at straws in an attempt to rationalize his lost.

When the heckler post I actually feel sad for adam....desperate cry for help.

Yes SteeleP. Actually Heckler started showing up after the Mike Richards Comedy club incident. I think it was the inspiration for the new "personality".

Hahaha the totally over the top effort he put in to take those pictures! Still makes me laugh.

whateva did follow the rules to a tee.  He wrote me before taking pics and asked specifically about the requirements.  He followed em.

So tell everyone who's been bitching since the contest.  ;D

Yeah some people had some bad quality pics, they could have def edged out Adonis if they took more time to get good pics especially DaddyWaddy. It's almost like Adonis was Ed Corney (great presenter) and the rest Paul Dillet (Presents himself as retarded) ;D

The pros don't even sit comfortably at that bf percentage, even for the very short period they do. It's unhealthy, and certainly not conducive to building any muscle, what with the struggle to keep organs from failing and all.

It's true ,but don't forget that your metabolism slows down after 30 ,you don't have the same energy ,as when you were 20 ,I have a job ,family ,kids ,etc..for me is harder now than 10 or 15 years ago .

Stop being such a fcuking cry baby Bast, and you would get much more respect and more positive feedback for your physique. Bitching about how unfair it is that whateva is better than you will just make you look bad.

Suck it up Sonny.

I've stated before that I think you got great genetics... except the calves, of course.

Great symmetry, small joints, you got great flow to your physique.

Really good physique, TBH.

It's just the calves that offsets it. But the rest has really a lot of potential, especially the arms, just crazy tie-ins.
