not at all, but i think is always a good indicator...

Im doing Max OT and i saw many times that maybe you couldnt get much soreness from that workout ( and i was used to lots of volume) but man, im feeling all my body hurt , specially my back, something that i didnt felt for long!!!!!!

i trained back 4 days ago and im still feeling it and in my biceps!!!

soreness and 'pump' are things people are always looking for...if you dont find it sometimes its not that satisfying....

No sorenoss doesn't have to mean a bad workout. It could also mean a good diet.

Many people confuse discomfort with pain.  When I lift I am in a constant state of discomfort, but that's a good thing since it means i'm pushing my body past its limits.  Pain comes in when you push it too far past its limits and boom, overtrained and/or injured.

I never confuse discomfort with pain.Im never uncomfortable when I lift. The pain is the muscles burning.I'v never suffered a serious injury, and im in and out of the gym in an hour.My diet is good.I still get sore.So basiclly I don't agree with you at all.
