gaining 10 lbs of muscle naturally in a year is damn near impossible unless its your first or second year training, and gaining that takes extreme dedication. after that it tapers down to like 1-2lbs a year maximum.
there's a reason why guys who compete (natural or unnatural) take 3-4 months to diet into contest shape, yet the muscle they do have took many years to achieve. building muscle is much harder
Exactly! Going by BS' or Adonis' point of view, they're more of a bodybuilder now than Jay Cutler or Ronnie Coleman is at present, simply cause they're leaner

But everyone knows that it's how much muscle you have when you cut down that matters. And I don't think I need to point out that they're not going to add much muscle if they're going to be permanently super-lean (which they aren't anyway), eating McDonalds and donuts.
Going by Adonis' theory if someone ate 2500 Calories (or how much ever he consumes everyday) worth of butter day after day, then they're going to look the same as a bodybuilder who diets normally (and sensibly) with lean sources of protein, complex high-fiber carbs etc

What's worse than Adonis saying complete nonsense like that is he's got clueless, inexperienced nimrods like BS not only idolising him, but also practising his 'principles'

Anyone can cut down and get lean - it's a simple matter of manipulating your diet and doing Cardio on top, which isn't necessary. But building muscle is damn near impossible, esp. if you're doing it naturally and have been doing so for a while.
