Hmmm.... there seems to be a bit of Doyle Kenady appreciation going on here....

I guess I have to post as much as what I've found of the great deadlifter here.

Kenady was born in 1948.He had a heart attack at the age of 39,which ended his lifting career. He suffered another heart attack from which he died at the age of 50 in 1999.
According to Fred Hatfield, Doyle went by the nicknames of
"Mountain Man" ,
"Saskwatch" or
"Grizzly Bear"His weight was 140 kg (305 pounds) and height 1m 78 cm (5ft 10').
Doyle could squat over 900 pounds and bench over 500 pounds.
His most incredible strength feat was when he pulled
410 kg (903.9 pds) ,which was 2.96*bodyweight,on his third attempt in the deadlift at the April 6th 1986 powerlifting meet in Honolulu,Hawaii.

Given that he achieved his greatest strength accomplishments late in his career, it must have given him Samson-like strength!
