in this, my first literary achievement, i would like to extend my deepest gratitude toward one man who truly changed my life around. though i never knew your real name, and only saw a picture of you brushing your teeth or holding a cell phone, i know you must have felt the bonding of our spirits much as i did.
the time we spent together was a time of rebirth, i found myself as the lowly caterpillar who, through your guidance and with your wisdom, blossomed into a gorgeous butterfly. i am certain that had our paths never crossed, mine would never have led to the paradise i see in the near future. not just myself, but for the both of us, as like planets whizzing by our gravitational pull as altered each of our trajectories. in my case at least, it has been for the better.
often times as i sit in my bed late at night, i stare up at the ceiling and reflect upon our friendship, our bonding. many of these times my emotions overpower me to the extent that i am left weeping, not out of sadness, but out of a profound appreciation.
yes my friend, you made a grown man weep.
you are my oracle.
