If the relation of being physical and skilled is the criteria for being an athlete, then Lumberjacks and Ditchdiggers should be considered.

Just because a bber is physically strong, has the ability to mentally concentrate on peak contraction of muscles, and can diet better than most of the population, it still doesn't put them in the same league as Pros in the NFL, MLB, NBA etc.
Here's the biggest difference.
Although there are users of steroids and GH in all of the above sports, the MAJORITY of them are pros
without drugs and based solely on their performance as seen by their coaches. You CANNOT say that about PRO bbers.
And in the instance of most sports, with a few exceptions (golf, tennis, etc.) these pros are selected to be on a team to provide a winning successful season. Even in certain golf and tennis tournaments they select teams.
When was the last time you picked bbers to be on a team to win? HAHAHA! When will Team Muscletech go up against Team BSN for a trophy?
