I stopped buying flex a couple of years ago. I have piles of the old magazines from the mid 80's and early 90's, but I can't say that I have any interest in even looking at flex magazine. 80% of flex magazine is ads from various supplement companies and the non-advertisement information that they don contain is generally useless and unreliable. 7 dollars for advertisements is simply absurd. Muscular development is better since it contains various intelligent people commenting on various things, such as Romano who I enjoy reading. However even Muscular development is too expensive to keep buying.
