In the spirit of the holiday, I'm apologizing to Kevin - and, in another way, to Earl - for being an asshole about the whole Redline thing.

There's bar-room razzing and then there's something that's over the line. I crossed the line - and I shouldn't have.

I'm sorry.

In rough terms (not exact) they say a movie has to make 3 times what it cost to start seeing profit.  I never understood this formula.  I know most films are funded by outside sources, no one actually uses their own personal money.  Loans, bonds and other sources are used.  And I don't think any post-production costs are factored in.  But if in reality this movie cost $25 mill to make I highly doubt it will do anything in way of making anyone any money.  You want to see a huge financial success it was that horror movie those kids made for under a million.  It took in over $100 million I think.  Now that is a success.

<< If for some reason, I become trapped in a room with this movie being played on repeat; I will gladly end my life. >>

<< Before watching this film I had very low expectations and went to just see the cars. Eventually I even regretted going for that reason. Plot is almost non-existent. Character development is non-existent. So many clichés and so much jaw-dropping cheesiness existed in the movie that I could only stare and wonder how it was even released. If not for the exotics, I wouldn't have even rated this movie a 1. An attempt at a coherent story line is destroyed by the sheer absurdity of this elite racing cult and the laughable characters that make up its members. In fact, the movie's plot is so predictable and simple-minded that an average child could foretell the majority of the storyline. Bad acting, bad plot, bad jokes, bad movie. >>

<< I snuck into an audience preview of this flaming pile the other day, and not only is it the worst film I've ever seen, it's by far the worst experience of my life. I'd rather rub my manhood in brown sugar and unleash a swarm of red fire ants on it before I'd ever sit through a frame of this piece of torturous bile again. This movie has to be the work of a top terrorist organization that has infiltrated our movie industry. It's like a subliminal pro-suicide reel that acts as a tool to convince viewers that their life is not worth living. If I'd had a weapon on me during the preview, I would have used it on myself within the opening sequence. Instead, I tried to slit my writs with my car keys >>

ROFL I almost shat myself with laughter.  Thanks for the warning.  I was considering seeing this movie before, but as of reading this nice little thread I wouldn't consider touching it with a 10 foot pole.

Kev, got a lucky break, he blew it.  The movie is an unmitigated disaster.

OK, yes, he has  had some success in the 'generally unknown' sport of Pro Bodybuilding. He can thank the juice for that. His mediocre rise in this reviled and corrupt industry was surprising though.

Good luck to this new natural, Kev.  Being a mass monster was never a good look for him.

I look at little skinny kevin these days and feel like weeping.  His sunken face, rolled shoulders and that look of total dejection.  What must he be going through?  And to think he is considering getting back on the gear again.

For christ sake Kevin,  buy a burger frachaise and disappear.  You are boring and uncreative. You would do well in the fast food industry.
