The difference is active duty... You know that!  Nobody is going to have the Secret Service beating down their door for speculating if he is or isn't evil or Satan spawn.  That would be a PR nightmare for the whitehouse.  Can you imagine the headlines?  "Secret Service arrests man for saying Bush is Evil" That would go over so well in the media... They wouldn't touch it.  There would clearly have to be something else going on, but it doesn't surprise me that active duty personal would see investigations where civilians would not and as we've talked about before, I agree with that.

I think he is a simple, easygoing guy who is surrounded by a team of imperialists.  They know energy, trends, and they believe war on iraq/iran is the way to keep our heads above rival nations who work their people harder for nickels.

I believe Bush is probably the most tortured man in America.  The pressure he feels?  I mean seriously - most of America and certainly the world blame HIM for everything bad we do.  9/11 wasn't his idea but he was the one who had to sell it - you all heard him say when asked how he feels in his soul (right after 9/11) - he said 'I'm a good man..." and trailed off.  It's telling.

Iran has every right in the world to enrich uranium for domestic purposes.

I'd wager that Kerry wouldn't have broken the law and invaded Iraq, he wouldn't have authorized torture, he wouldn't have authorized breaking federal law to spy on americans, etc.

Every estimate out there says that Bush's behavior has catalyzed terrorism worldwide.
