here it goes sent a donation today by W.U.. twice was denied do to receiver name triggered an alarm, "the name of receiver is on a watch list established by us government, that the funds will be held until receiver info was given" wtf

i asked were is the money going to go if i didn't give that info. He responded that after a year the funds will be sent to the attorney general and they will decide what to do with the money.

this happened after i left the teller all by phone call. So i took the lose, after five minutes was called again and told that my money will be refunded just to pick it up at were i place the moneywire with an id.

i hope everyone stays safe out their.

W.U. does not work along side the attorney general,first off....

What happens is if the funds are not picked or not transfered or not refunded for a year then the funds have to go some were.W.U. can not make those decisions so it goes to the state for like donations and stuff like that,and the only one that can make this decision would be the attorney general or the state attorney's office,has nothing to with W.U.

i understand, but this is what the guy on the other line said to me and this was all in a matter of minutes not a year right after i left the teller.

since this was a domestic wire i went ahead and used my real name,
never had this problem before. Most other wires i sent were international and those I've used fake info.

when you cant send to reciever it most likely do to the fact that that reciever has had over several transactions in one day.

And i am letting you know cause i have delt with this stuff for over 10 years and know how its played.W.U. and any other collector company read off a script that they use for you to give them every info they want and you fell for it.

it happed to me a few years ago with IP and a domestic IP distributor . First time a made a big deal out of it and finally got the money sent, 2nd time WU said they won't do - I got the money though - I don't think it had to do anything with the government though.

they do this quite a bit when sending money overseas .... it happened to me sending money to israel a couple months ago....they said the transaction couldnt go through because of the nature of the reciever or some shit ---- I didnt pay it any mine, and then I went and sent cash from the grocery store...... if you are trying to send cash with credit card online, or over the phone, 9/10 times they will say this shit if its a foreign transfer

if its cash at the grocery store..... you will never have a sungle problem...

with the IP they didn't want to except the money anywhere - i had to call some manger in the WU , had to argue with him for 20 mins before had the money sent - he said the name i was sending to was related with some illegal activities adn that's why they didnt want to do it.

G thats what happened to me but didn't fight it, also i did go to a teller with cash.
its just a relief to hear I'm not the only one that this happened too i was begging to wonder if i was flagged myself. But thats just part of the game .
as them having something to do with the gov. i don't know, it could have been script read.
just one thing when i went for the refund the teller gave me their phone and said wu rep wanted to talk to me, again they asked they would send the transfer if i had a zip code or anything. Of course i didn't have that info, but i did say that the
receiver needed the money as it was an emergency. the said no
stay safe

this is true.thats why we have social security numbers they are tracking number.they punch it up into the satellite and can locate you in seconds. The word SECURITY says is all.And look up the meaning for Social.Thats why bill collectors can find you no matter if you moved,changed your number,It may take a year or so but they get ahold of you. LOL
