leg training/knee problem
« on: April 22, 2007, 11:12:39 AM »
yesterday I was playing a pickup football game and while juking i felt a pain in my right knee.  I can walk around pretty well, but when i go up or down stairs my knee feels a little weak.  Today would be my leg day, but I'm going to take it off.  For next week, should I avoid training legs, or train light, or use machines as opposed to barbells?  What do you guys think?

a little bit.  today it's tender, but that's about it.  i feel it when walking sometimes, but it's not really debilitating.  i wouldnt even think of running yet though

Time for an MRI, did you land laterally or straight down? If you landed laterally and it swelled within a few hours it could be an ACL sprain or partial tear, if you landed straight down it could be meniscus tear.....best bet, go see a Doc and get an MRI!
