The video that kicked off the fitness craze and fashion craze of the 80's. Some of those fat guys look like getbiggers. IT was a fun time dont, the videos were meant to be tongue and cheek.

I disagree, it was really more tongue and cheek, and it was completely new at the time. The whole idea about going to the gym was foreign to mainstream America, but the idea was a hit and they all ran out and started lifting and doing aerobics, and also the gay thing at the end hinted at what was already going on in New York City, the fitness and the out and proud stuff. It was shocking for its day and  the end part was banned by many TV stations.

all and all a very significant pop culturally significant.

I am not suprised the humour and significance is lost on getbigers, they are sold out to corporate controlled media.

It also shows a time when  artists were not hiding behind million dollar budgets, cosmetic surgery and a team of designers and consultants. It was hit or miss and the talented ones survived. Its not that way anymore. The companies control the game.
