I've kept up with the deal between Milos and Shawn and it seems to me that Shawn is jealous of Milos and the great gym he has.

Vince, that is a fair assessment.

In your view what is the root cause of Shawn's bitter jealously and resentment of Milos?  Is it more than the fact that Milos has a successful gym?

Serious question.

****no problem....if you think you have the support of the athletes over me...run against me at the next election.

+++Well, there is a problem…When is the NEXT ELECTION…and when exactly was the previous – which you obviously won… ;)

I'll get the exact date for you...there was no previous, as Shawn stepped down. The job was posted on the IFBB site for any and all who was interested....apparently, I was the only only one who wanted it.

****many athletes ave requested change, and I agree with those changes...there is no disadvantage to being allowed to showcae your physique with mandatory poses AND optional poses..

+++ Many athletes?
You have a list?
After all if MANY have asked…and you need only MAJORITY (over 50%) I am sure it is not going to be to hard for you to mention couple of hundred professionals who requested the change…now is it? ::)
Well, how about only 50?
After all – can you produce 25?

I need 50%? According to who's rules...yours? I'm the representative...I make changes as I see fit, in the best interests of the IFBB athletes. If anyone has a problem with those changes, or disagrees...they are free to let me know as I see most of them throughout the year...to date...YOU are the only one complaining. If the athletes don't like my representation, they can choose to elect someone else next time...

****my "cocky" explanation was in response to you questioning my efforts...you're right...I will continue to make changes as I see fit, reguardless of whether you agree or not.

+++ Regardless of whether ANYONE agrees or not!
Your cockiness is obviously due to your “protected status from above”…as after all – you were appointed as athlete’s rep – not chosen by us…

Changes that you see fit?
How about changes MAJORITY of athletes see fit?

See above.

What changes do the "majority" want to see that hasn't ben addressed and/ or changed at this point? Talk specifics..

*****I didn't change shit....I got almost 100% positive response when I brought up the idea at the last athletes meeting...if athletes are that concerned with what i'm putting out there on their behalf, maybe they should start attending meetings.

+++You got almost 100% positive response when you brought up the idea at the last athletes meeting?
Let’s see: total of 6 athletes showed up and you had 4 agree with you….Hmmmmm, you are right – almost 100% agree with you…
Way to go Bob.

Do you know WHY athletes don’t give a shoe to attend your meeting?
They know better…

They don't attend because they don't care...simple as that. Obviously, they are content/ pleased with the job I'm doing judging by the overwhelming ZERO complaints I've received so far. You can check the results and my % of getting proposals approved from the last 3 meetings if you wish.

****Keep doing it "your way".... you just may be doing it in some other federation.

+++ I just may continue in the same federation…regardless of possible suspension…
I never worked AGAINST the federation but FOR…and that’s what I am doing now…and sooner or later people will realize it.

Tough to continue doing anything when/ if you're suspended...unfortunatel y, you won't have a voice or any clout to be heard. You wanted to be a one man army...do things "your way"...that was your choice, Instead of working with me, and within the system to get somewhere and make change.

Hey, Bob, any idea when the next election for IFBB pro athlete's rep is going to be held?

I would assume at the annual meeting held Olympia weekend.

BOB:

How about exactly:
#1) MORE COMPARISONS…
This is absolutely number one priority – and due to your “proper channel” approach – it took us many years to finally be considered…than even heard and understood…and finally – ACCEPTED…

According to you AFTER A LONG WAIT – starting with 2007 season you officially got us what we’ve been waiting for…= MORE COMPARISONS.
Do I really need to remind you what happened at the Ironman?

Now, regardless of what you are going to say (and indeed you told Jim Manion that I was running there and screaming at Sandy…when in reality I went there to ASK what happened?
I politely reminded you about what you informed us (to expect more comparisons) and than made a comment to judges: “Please understand that EVERYONE here would love to see MORE comparisons – starting with the athletes, than fans, photographers, reporters….magazine editors…etc…but mostly: THE ATHLETES.

You don’t seem to disagree with me about the subject (need of more comparisons) but about my approach?

While yours obviously failed AGAIN…and AGAIN…I purposely pointed out THE MOST IMPORTANT issue in this whole situation…and that is RESPECT!

I wanted to “hit the nerve” and tell the truth about:
“If you don’t realize – by not letting the athletes fight/compete for their placing you are disrespecting their hard work and tremendous sacrifices they have to endure to look the way they do…

I know that most of the judges  DO LOVE athletes…
I have no doubts that Jim Manion see us all as his sons (as he told me that so many times), I am sure that Big Steve also loves and cares for the athletes as he was step by step next to Bev…than Dorian…and God knows how many people from his gym…

John Tuman (who had a problem with that statement) only got insulted because he DOES care (his training partner is competitive NPC competitor)…so I know that when I put in prospective THE TRUTH (lack of comparisons = lack of respect for the athletes) – they WOULD THINK ABOUT IT…and MAKE THE CHANGE…

Rather than being politically correct and following certain “proper channels” which produced NO RESULTS year after year…I think that “my way” is just a little bit better – as people WILL THINK about what is really going on here…

Now, with all the attacks on me…and even physical challenges issued – I think I handled myself very professionally and besides being accused of “uncontrollable raging bull” – I didn’t even thought about starting the fight…

Again, I am working for the athletes…and at the same time I respect the officials.
Just because I am pointing out to them their mistakes – and some are just too sensitive to admit their mistakes – we came to this…
But, I am sure that if we just all get together and openly discuss this issue – we would find the best solution in no time.

And to mention OTHER changes:
#2) Published scores with Individual judging score sheets
#3) Increased prize money
#4) Increased number of shows
#5) Better judging system (with ways to “measure” subjectivity…and I DO HAVE A SYSTEM that would make A LOT OF SENSE TO EVERYONE…)…etc
#6) Medical coverage
#7) Gazillion OTHER issues…

BOB:
They don't attend because they don't care...simple as that. Obviously, they are content/ pleased with the job I'm doing judging by the overwhelming ZERO complaints I've received so far. You can check the results and my % of getting proposals approved from the last 3 meetings if you wish.

He seemed like a really intelligent decent guy. What is all the fuss about over him???
I am out of the loop on this one and ignorant of anything he did/didn't do?????

Thanks for any legit info on him.     Howard

The big deal i that Milos stands up for the bodybuilder he trains. If he feels they have been screwed, he lets the judges know. Bob Chic has a problem with the way Milos went about expressing himself to judges at the Ironman, and Bob also feels that it is Milos fault that bodybuilding and IFBB pros are not welcomed to compete in some parts of Asia. Shawn Ray has also put his two cent into this, but he is a rat and and dodges questions that are asked directly to him, so his opinion is worth as much as three day old sh1t.

Yeah, one can summarize it with, Milos is a stand-up guy that doesn't hold back the words.

He tells it how he sees it.

It's a pity tho that Milos guy didn't win, since i do believe he deserved it.

If Paul Chua is shady or not i'll let the experts comment about.

Finally, Bob, explains how things work in the IFBB. You do as you are told and don't rock the system boat.

Lee Priest is the only one who makes sense.  If all the athletes decided to sit out for even part of a year, the IFBB would scramble to please them.  If the MD athletes were part of it, then some big names would have em by the nuts....

There are so many bodybuilders who would do just about anything to win a major title that when some boycott a contest others line up ready to win instead. This happened in 1981 when some champs boycotted the Olympia.

When Lee Priest was suspended recently that meant other guys moved up a notch. The mob will never control the IFBB because each and every bodybuilder is desperate to win a title.

Ignorance is not an excuse..if you didn't know, thats YOUR problem. The President has the option to appoint a replacement in the event of an official stepping dowm, etc...as per the rules. That's what he did....once again, if you don't like my success rate and changes....run for it yourself.

Shawn and I are the ones who created the position, as we felt we (the athletes) needed a voice...Wayne was the one who made up whatever rule of election he wanted...thE 50% rule was for getting elected, not making changes...that's up to whoever is the rep, they (the IFBB) doesn't dictate how we run our own rep position.

BOB:
I need 50%? According to who's rules...yours? I'm the representative...I make changes as I see fit, in the best interests of the IFBB athletes. Apparently it's not a waste of time, as the very proposals I submit, could be altered on a majority vote...if they choose not to attend, then they cannot bitch about the changes made on their behalf.

And...I can indeed make changes as I see fit, as I have and as I will continue to do so...It's not an abuse of power, it's called taking charge and making decisions...so far, I have yet to hear of one single complaint (other than you)...better money, health care, tickets, judging changes, rule changes, increased per diem..
.

BOB:
See above.

What changes do the "majority" want to see that hasn't been addressed and/ or changed at this point? Talk specifics..

How about exactly:
#1) MORE COMPARISONS…
This is absolutely number one priority – and due to your “proper channel” approach – it took us many years to finally be considered…than even heard and understood…and finally – ACCEPTED…

It took many years, because we had no voice and no say in the matter....before my time..why werent YOU doing anything about it??[/b
]

According to you AFTER A LONG WAIT – starting with 2007 season you officially got us what we’ve been waiting for…= MORE COMPARISONS.
Do I really need to remind you what happened at the Ironman?

What happened at the Ironman wasn't MY fault...it was a miscommunication betwen Manion and Sandy as to update her on the changes...it was addressed and brought current at every show since
Now, regardless of what you are going to say (and indeed you told Jim Manion that I was running there and screaming at Sandy…when in reality I went there to ASK what happened?
I politely reminded you about what you informed us (to expect more comparisons) and than made a comment to judges: “Please understand that EVERYONE here would love to see MORE comparisons – starting with the athletes, than fans, photographers, reporters….magazine editors…etc…but mostly: THE ATHLETES.

You don’t seem to disagree with me about the subject (need of more comparisons) but about my approach?

[b]PLEASE...Your approach was anything BUT polite and soft spoken. It was your approach which inflamed the situation and made what was to be a productive discussion into a shouting match. Tuman took offense because you were telling him he was disrespecting the athletes...Amazing how much more mild mannered you are in your recolection....25 others will disagree.

While yours obviously failed AGAIN…and AGAIN…I purposely pointed out THE MOST IMPORTANT issue in this whole situation…and that is RESPECT!

The change was already made...we didn't need any pearls of wisdom from you to help. Now, with all the attacks on me…and even physical challenges issued – I think I handled myself very professionally and besides being accused of “uncontrollable raging bull” – I didn’t even thought about starting the fight…

You can think whatever you want...Flex Wheeler put it to you as bluntly as anyone can. You were brash, confrontational and LOUD...anything but respectful. No one said you were uncontrolable. As said previously...your help wasn't needed at the time and made a spectacle out of what should have been a simple discussion.Again, I am working for the athletes…and at the same time I respect the officials.
Just because I am pointing out to them their mistakes – and some are just too sensitive to admit their mistakes – we came to this…
But, I am sure that if we just all get together and openly discuss this issue – we would find the best solution in no time.

Do your 'IFBB business' away from this adolescent-message-board.

Start acting like the professional that you claim to be!
