on the eddie solos click on jan 07 mma for fender ,he's promoting new guitar line, before rehab look's ragged, some spot's hit's notes quick and long like the old eddie.seems a bit shy and same time out of it,i hope rehab and clean look now saves him and just one mo time pull out vh tour.still the greatest imo....

No guitarist has ever played with more feeling than Paul Kossoff.

This song not only has one of the best guitar solos of all-time, but arguably the most influential bass solo ever. Billy Sheehan cites Andy Fraser as one of his biggest influences.

Bottom line: Free is the most underated band ever.

Great band but not one is a great musician.  They are a groove band.

you don't have to play a guitar to be a fan or not..what a dumb comment..i like his way of guitar playing..very innovative and in my eyes the best..there are millions of people who enjoy metal music and about 99.9% of them can't play any instrument..people listen to music to enjoy...

He's not saying you can't be a fan but you cannot tell a guitarist who you think is good based on factors you have no idea about. It's as if a pro bber told you that they as a whole were unhealthy but you average joe said "nope, you look great, you're healthy".

Tom Morello makes noise. He's self taught and uses noise and distortion to mask his obvious shortcomings in technical ability and theory.

Debussey, feedback is welcome

Debussey loves Birelli, and Debussey = seen those clips before. He is a real musician that utilizes his technique as a tool, not just for "show off". He is one of Debusseys all time favorite jazz guitarists (Debussey should have included him in it's "fav. guitar players list")

John Mclaughlin rocks as well, but he is not one of Debusseys favorites.

Debussey what are your thoughts on that statement?

Tom Morello = can play guitar. But he is not a good guitarist, he = a very mediocre and partially innovative socialist. As a guitarist, he's got no real skill of any kind, so he can not be called "skilled" in any way.

The Shadow is just an irrational little fuck, and he's got no clue. Just let him melt down, he's a 19 year old virgin from India, and he sucks in everything he do  ;D He also wrote that he uses violence against women ::)

Steve Vai IMO holds a lot back so he's not lumped with all the shredders. He plays with feel shadow.

Shadow, how do you qualify your statement of "most intense" guitar solo ever? Based on your fanaticism of RATM? That solo that Morello does on that clip, is awful and certainly should not be considered as one of the most intense ever.
I like Morello in Audioslave. His solo on "I am the highway" or one of their other popular songs is a better clip to use-but still not intense.
You want intense? Try using Hendrix's "Star Spangled Banner" from Woodstock. With the war in Vietnam, and the tensions of the draft with kids, the sexual revolution, and the unexpected rain at Woodstock....Hendrix opened the third day playing the song and using only his mind, volume, guitar and relatively few effects pedals (compared to now anyway) to generate the sounds of rockets and all the sounds attributed to war and everything the National Anthem stands for. Intense yes....and much more qualified than that mindless tripe you posted with a title used only to garner more views.

hendrix is the king..thats a known fact but what amazes me about tom is his unique guitar playing style..i mean its totally different than those traditional guitar players..i am not a fan of metallica type 2 handed guitar tap solos.those type of solos are over-rated and very boring.i mean bands like megadeath, pantera, slayer etc all sound the same when it comes to guitar solos..morello is one of a kind..you can hate him all you want but in my book he is the modern day hendrix..they both made their guitar sound like anything but a guitar and that my friend is greatness..morello rulz
