Yates' chest wasn't all that great, and we all know his arms sucked compared to other Olympia winners.
The best photo I've ever seen of Yates' chest, was the '93 pre-olympia photos that are now famous. Peter McGough stated that the entire set was shot after a chest workout, which explains his chest being so good in those photos.
Yates chest wasn't bad, it wasn't in the same league as Coleman, JOJ, Markus or DJ but to say it was weak is just stupid the only thing i didn't like about the guy were his biceps were horrible, the triceps were awesome though.

He had the best side tricep pose in the history of bodybuilding and that includes the future.

Same here, delts and arms blow up like a balloon with zero effort

Chest has taken a lot of trial and error to get it to respond.

My theory is their are "limb guys" and "torso guys". Very very few people have both

what about serge nubret?  talking about upper body of course 8)
