it looks like they're taking WWE wrestlers. if they have steve blackman as skeletor and al snow as man-at-arms, brad pitt is going to look like a twig standing next to all of them. there's gotta be someone on the WWE or TNA roster who could handle the role.

WWE/TNA - Probably best place to look -- whose that guy who played lead in The Condemmed? He looks like a good fit.
"Stone Cold"Steve Austin. Triple H would work. He's got the size,The look. Kane/Undertaker as skeletor?

in all fairness, can anybody think of a good idea why we should make a "new" He man movie? Everything has to be redone in these days, Hollywood is running out of ideas and their answer to this is to reinvent every fucking good movie that was marginal successfully in the past..fuck that. You know you are getting older when you sit through the Movie ads and they show the "new" upcoming movies and you know half of them already...since they are just redone, last time I had that feeling was when I saw the ads to The Hitcher or the Hitchhiker The old He man were and still are hilarious.

Brad Pitt is only small in the drug infested world of bodybuilding. But seriously, He-Man is supposed to be comically huge. Jay Cutler should play He-Man. Cue Ronnie Coleman He-Man photoshop.

If this movie infact comes out, I can see Brad Pitt playing the role of He-Man pre transformed, then they should stick a marketable BB like Gunther in there for the serious stuff (kind of like how they used Lou in the hulk). Since there is better voiceover technology and CGI they could get the voices to match seemlessly. JMO and that is even if the movie makes it to production.

Gerard Butler also said he hated the training & never wanted to see a gym again after "300." Also, Butler looks more like Man-at-Arms, one of the sidekicks of the show, than He Man (since He Man is a late teen).

Legendary Pictures will bring the muscular hero back to the big screen after 20 years since Dolph Lundgren .
This time, none other than Brad Pit will play the role.......

Mainly because the 80s He-Man movie was more like Jack Kirby's Fourth World than anything related to masters of the Universe! Also, there's a large, loyal fanbase. Many of the 80s comic properties would be viable movie options, IF they're done right. All of the kids that grew up with them are now adults w expendable income.
