It is aired to us for free but it is far from actually being free.  The network pays hundreds of millions of dollars for the right to air the games.  This money is shared between the NFL, owners, teams and players.  That is why I wanted to know how much BB.com is paying the IFBB for the rights to air this and why isn't the money being paid distributed to the athletes who are competing.  Why does the IFBB keep it all and not raise the prize money.  If the IFBB isn't getting a minimum of $100,000 from BB.com then there people (IFBB) are some of the dumbest in the industry and know I understand why BB is where it is and the prize money is where it is.  Bob this is something you need to concentrate on. I also understand why you have to be so diplomatic.  You have so many conflicts of interests here its unreal.  You are an IFBB pro, you are the IFBB Rep, you are an executive with BB.com, you are the annoucer, you host a radio show and you are the public mouth for Manion.  No wonder why you can't do your job for the IFBB members the way it should be.

This contract is betweem Robin Chang and BB.com....as Robin is the promoter, it's his show to run as he sees fit, and as he feels it benefits the production value, etc..

So at a time when BB is getting lower and lower instead of trying to make it better Chang moves the venue to save money, plus he has additonal money coming in from a new sponsor BB.com yet none of this money is used to make the prize money more for the athletes.  It must be nice to sacrifice the athletes and the show to pocket some extra cash.  Who was the genius to make Chang the boss.  Fire them whoever it was.

We don't know if it's "additional" money...it may be the same money, and the prize money may be raised again this year FYI...

Were not...were at the Orleans arena, which is a top notch arena for the Olympia and many other sporting events...the Orleans HOTEL and Casino isn't that great, but people can stay whereever they wish...

The arena is a disgrace.  The atmosphere is non existant.  It is devoid of ambience.

A change of venue is needed.

I think the event should be taken on the road.  It should go international.

how would you lose ticket sales if you Hold a show like the NY pro, in NYC, but you live in Texas (for example...)? it's not like all tickets are bought from out-of-towners.

No one is losing their ass...just the opposite.

The Webcasts have served to make more people aware of the shows. Even though it's a great media outlet, it's not like being there...much like going to a NFL game vs watching it on TV for free...stands are still full, ratings are still high.

This also gives a great opportunity to all our fans accross the world to see the show...for most, it's simply not feasable to travel to all the shows.

Good point. Being in England the only show i've got to look forwad to is the PDI Priest fest - so i welcome the webcasts. The commentary is always shit though. [joke]
