To all concerned:
I just got off the phone with Robin Chang. He read and forwarded to me, an email from Silvio explaining the situation and making his stance clear for the record. Silvio is in Canada at present, shooting pics for Muscletech...
He states that Milos is NOT his manager, and has never had the authority to speak on his behalf. He will address this himself and in greater detail, after the Colorado Pro as it is agravating enough to have to prepare with all that is going on.
There will be no action taken in reguards to his breach of contract, as it has been noted that certain people have mislead him, and have put his contract in jeopardy despite knowing the consequences of those actions. Robin (as representing AMI) and I (as representing the athlete) have discussed this at length and have come to this resolution on Silvio's behalf.
He has been isssued a warning, and knows that as the contracted athlete, he will be responsible for living up to the terms of the contract in any and all future occurances.
Silvio wants it known that he is very happy with both of his endorsement contracts, and hopes to remain a Weider athlete for a long time to come.
I am open to all questions and this is certainly a news to me.
Now, to make one thing clear: I said I was acting as Silvio's manager ALL THIS TIME as we had that kind of verbal agreement (not signed contract - as I certainly don't need one...)
Yesterday, in other thread when Bob talked about 20% "payment" I clarified that EVERYTHING I did for Silvio in the beginning was FREE - as I wanted to help him get on his feet...
However, as I made many things possible for him and he expressed that he wants to continue using me and he wants to start paying me for my services as he thinks that I should get paid "at least - something" - we discussed several options...
He was asking (others...including Shawn) for the advice as he was considering different options for payment - and percentage was just one of the ideas...(Off course, Shawn would tell him to just go along and not pay me anything...while he was selling him his old furniture...)
Now, as some would like to present me as a lier - good luck with that.
I simply DON'T LIE.
Robin knows very well that he was talking to me about Silvio's contract as I was representing him as his manager...and MUSCLETECH people know that as well - as I went back and forth with them for a while making sure to get him MUCH MORE MONEY than what they would offer him...
So, that's that.
I guess I will have to find out from Silvio ASAP what's his stand about this whole thing...but certainly as it looks to me - someone tried to intimidate him and therefore he had to say "proper answer" to the delight of Bob and Shawn...so he could save his contract...
But, as it goes in life - there are two sides to every story...
#1) I claim that I was acting as his manager since he came here to US...until right now. I organized several PAYING photoshoots with FLEX and MD - and acted as his manager negotiating his fees.
I also acted as his manager in case of publication contract (AMI) as well as supplement contract (Muscletech)
#2) And for Bob's statement:" He states that Milos is NOT his manager, and has never had the authority to speak on his behalf." - read #1.
