People act like Gitmo or any other prison is new news. It isn't. What's different now is that dumbass Army Specialists are taking pics with camera phones, etc. That stuff never would have been allowed before.

I really like Rudy for a number or reasons. McCain supporting this bill really took my support away from him. He will lose Repub votes, esp in AZ, gain nothing really from a community who can't/won't vote.

As for torture, to blame Bush or anyone else is naive. This has been a long practice since the CIA was the OSS. It is a part of war/conflict. Abu Gahrib was only an issue b/c of cameras.

I don't need the vids, I watched a reporter try it. Uncomfortable? yes, but if it doesn't leave permanent physical or mental scars..it isn't torture.
