yes the best boxers make far more at this point but if you look at the ppv buyrates mma did far better than boxing this past year and there aren't any other fighters other than these two who are about to retire that can save boxing

their fight had the most ppv buys ever but it hurt boxing even more because it wasn't an exciting fight

mma is still pretty new and is just now starting to get big

are you talking about guys that are just fans or the guys that think they could be fighters just like they thought they could be pro wrestlers 5 years ago?

there is more skill involved in mma, boxing is just punching and defending punches
 
studies say it is safer to hit a guy while he is down AND THEN STOPPING THE FIGHT than it is to let him stand up after being knocked down and then continuing the fight

I'm not debating the skill of an MMA fighter. I'm saying it's barbaric. If a guy is more hurt with a standing 8 then being pummeled on the ground isn't my concern. It's how it looks. Like interracial porn for example!

you did those things SEPARATELY but was it MMA as in a combination of boxing, kickboxing, jiu jitsu, wrestling, submissions etc?
