I got the perfect snack. Beef jerky. Little cuts of cured meat. No carbs. Only 2% fat per pack. You can get spicy, bbq, etc. If you like it, that is.

Actually, I have a Sugar Free/Carb Free Jello (1/2 cup) with me and bought 8 cans of tuna last night along with several sweet potatoes (splenda & cinnamon).  ;D

Another favorite of mine is a good ol' asperagus or spinach omolette.

Did you at least peel them first? Wait, I guess eaten unpeeled would be a good source of fiber?

Unpeal?  No.

You know use a potato peeler to get the outer skin off near the stalk area or do you just throw that part away and eat only the tips?

Awesome dedication! Is the dieting the hardest part of competing or the training? Or a better question would be which is the hardest on your personal life?

Dieting.  I train almost everyday regardless, but only diet during contest prep.  And neither are hard on my personal life as Michael trains and diets with me, so we are aware of why we might be a little cranky at times.  :)

Funny how food (the lack there of) can cause this type of emotional swing. Iguess this is where the "fat dumb and happy" Cliche' comes from.

It's more about the "lack of choices" than the "lack of food" that makes ya cranky.  I am eating all the time, just not eating what I want.  :(
