Hey dude, seriously...look at it like this. If it sucks to go to the gym, just forget about it. Just lay around and do nothing but eat Hostess Cupcakes. Go to Super Wal-Mart and buy 3 boxes of waffles and eat them all til you're sick. Don't forget a gallon of milk. Apple pie and ice cream. Take naps. Sleep in. Smoke out. Put your middle finger up in the air to the whole thing for as long as you feel like it. Go drink at the lake. Take a week off. Take 2 weeks off. Take 2 years off. Don't eat a single gram of protein for days and days on end. Drink Kool-Aid with sugar. Let you belly hang out. Don't eat shit for 3 days. Take up running. Go run sprints. Go climb a rock. Go train bi's with concentration curls 3 days in a row or train chest once a week for a month with no leg day. Whatever. If you were meant for it, it'll call you back. If you had no business there in the first place, or if it's time to move on, you'll likely find a new hobby, a new girl, a new purpose, etc., somewhere outside all this madness. You won't be any worse off provided you're happy. Every pursuit's got drawbacks. If you're resenting doing all the things you feel you have to be, you're gonna break sooner or later and that's no way to live so just let go. Once you get away from it, you might remember why you were drawn to it in the first place, or why it sucks to do much anything else.
