Not against Cotto or Mosley. Your boy needs to step up in competition before you start dropping names like that. Berto's last opponent was a fucking palooka and you know it. That guy didn't even want to be there from the opening bell.

I really like Berto's talent and he will be something special a couple of years from now, but not just yet. Fight a ranked opponent in the top 7 in any of boxing's governing bodies/rankings first before you start calling out fighters of that caliber. Berto hasn't accomplished shit yet, while all those fighters you mentioned have already paid their dues and paved the way for fighters like Berto.

By 2008 he should be ready for a title shot. Right now Andre is having a difficult time getting the type of quality opponents he would want. DiBella does a good job though.

Being just 23yo, there is no need to rush this kid. He has time.......

Jeff "left hook" Lacy was rushed by Gary Shaw and the results have been disastrous.
