what was his job at this contest?  as an official representative of one of the national IFBB orgs, as coach of the Malaysian team.

He was the coach, and a current IFBB pro...

He was the coach, and a current IFBB pro...

it's unlikely that he paid for a ticket to the Asian games, he had credentials, a badge that got him into the venue.

Now he's been barred from IFBB pro events, but it seems that he still can participate in IFBB amateur events.

Chick can you explain this for us.

6. On April 30, 2007, in conformity with Pro Rule 10.1 (Hearings), you participated in a hearing by teleconference call, at which time the Committee asserted that you violated Pro Rules 9.5 (Contest or Judging Decisions) and 9.6 (Public Statements) and clauses 5, 8, 10, 16 and 17 of the Pro Code of Ethics.

In your own words the code of ethics is just a guide, but now its enforceable to ban people?

Either you abide by the Code of Ethics and hold all members to it or throw it away, this is double standards at its best.

IFBB is a f-ing joke... they beat to their own drum, enforce rules when they want to enforce them, have all the athletes whipped and an athletes rep that does more for corporate than for the athletes he represents..... funny how you don't see ANY of this in true sport leagues like NFL, MLB, NBA, even lower tier like MLS or WNBA....hell even the WWE is less corrupt!!!!! hear's to Milos, LEE and others out there....time to call them out on the carpet....bring this monoply down

Of course the Code is enforcable...it says so right in the language. Whether the violation IS enforced or not is a matter of individual basis, prior warnings/ violations and severity of the infraction....

much like when someone gets pulled over for drunk driving, they end up getting tickets for DWI/ Failure to obey a traffic device/ seatbelt/ unsafe start, etc.....

Milos has 10 days to appeal, and Chick, as the Athletes Rep, is going to help him with his appeal.

Quote
9. The Committee finds that you did falsely accuse, in a public forum, Mr. Paul Chua and Mr. Walter van den Branden of wrongdoing; specifically, of fixing the results and/or of receiving money to manipulate the results of the Bodybuilding competition at the Doha Asian Games

The question that Milos needs to answer is did he falsely accuse these two of wrongdoing. You need to have some sort of proof if you accuse someone.

If I accuse you of being gay....does that make you gay?

I can see you trying to sue me for slander....but then you have a little thing here in the United States called freedom of speech.

I see this going no where

It is one thing to say someone fixed a contest and that the contest results seem fixed. Ditto about someone receiving money. If you do not personally know that and have evidence you are not going to be able to survive a hearing if it is one person's word against the other.

Whether Paul personally interferred with that contest is unclear but the contest result sucks (going by the evidence of photos and experts who witnessed the competition).

They forgot to mention that Paul Chua is appointed a vice-president. That is not an elected position.

If I'm not mistaken, his proof mysteriously got cold feet and apologized, strange isn't it?

I believe these Asian games are very financially rewarding for the winners, and having the right "friends" could help, is the rumor I heard, whether or not it's true......well....

BUILDING ON HIS AWARDS
By Gary Lim
May 25, 2005
The New Paper

THREE years after the $250,000 cash bonanza for winning an Asian Games gold medal, Abdul Halim Haron's (right) life has changed.  No longer does the bodybuilder have to juggle two jobs just to support his family and his passion for the sport.

The article is from a Singapore newspaper, so I assume it's SG$, which would be US$162,580

This is why the top Asian bodybuilders don't turn pro in the IFBB after winning their national championships.  They make more money as an amateur than they ever could as a pro.

Is Milos's suspension the punch in the face that Raphael was supposed to want to give him (As mentioned by Bob C)?

Can Milos hold any more free seminars while he is suspended?

Notice the suspension also forbids Milos from posting on the internet about that business.

Seems to me if Jim Manion had a personal issue with Milos (wanting to punch him in the face) he should not have been involved with any disciplinary action or hearing involving Milos. That clearly is not justice because it can be seen to be vindictiveness.

Who handles complaints about Jim Manion?

Bob, since when are you NOT an official of the IFBB? Surely you are the official IFBB pro rep? I expect you to dress properly for media presentations. Follow the lead that professional Dan Soloman displays. No more Greek jokes, okay? Those jokes are no longer PC.

Hope this helps.

Hmmmm.....In real sports (Hockey, Baseball, Basketball) The head of the players union ALWAYS has the back of the players he represents. You on the other hand aren't an athletes rep you are an Ifbb guy

Hope this helps.

Chick:

 13. In conformity with Pro Rule 9.3 (Suspension Conditions), while under suspension you may not compete, give exhibitions or seminars, judge, officiate or otherwise participate in an official capacity at any IFBB Pro League competition.

This says seminars Chick. So who is right?

Both men said things while hot under the collar...bottom line is, they have a COMMITEE, not just one person who looks at the situation....believe me, I have 50 pages of documentation to look through

Who handles complaints about Jim Manion?

Ben Weider..now Raphael Santonja.

Both of us.....he cannot give seminars (under any official capacity as an IFBB pro)

He can give seminars (as himself, Milos Sarcev)

Hey, Bob, you give my posts attention which is a big improvement. Thanks for that.

Didn't Milos and Weinburger have issues in the past? That makes two guys who aren't pals with Milos. That committee sounds more like a gang that a group that can dispel justice. No wonder so many get what they deserve.

Manion clearly had a conflict of interest and should have not been involved.

Ditto if a guy is judging a person he is mates with or prepared for a show.

Wear a tie out of respect for Ben Weider. Is that too much to ask? Wear a gold tie like I know you want to.

MIlos has had conflicts with just about everybody at one time or another....the commitee is the commitee. You cant just appoint people who arent in that capacity.
