Good for Arnold! I don't agree with a lot of his politics but his point is a very valid and obvious one. Somewhat off topic, but being from Canada, I can state unequivocally that natives are the biggest finiancial burden on the our entire country.  My, and everyone elses tax dollars go towards supporting a people, who have no ambition to support themselves.  They abuse our health care system, as well as other services, but fail to contribute to them.  They are offered free college educations and get first preference for Government jobs, which is clearly stated on job postings.  Imagine, if in today's society, a job posting stated that white candidates would get first preference! Then, whenever they have any kind of grievance, their first inclination is to block off railways, roadways and cause public distubances, sometimes carrying illegal assault rifles.  And getting a free pass, while others in society would be harshly prosecuted for similar actions. This segment of our society also loves to play the race card, but if you ask me, the racism is now against the caucasion population.  At one time, there may have been a generation of the Native population that were owed something, but I along with others today owe the current generation nothing.  However, the Canadian Government opened the flood gates, and it has gotten too out of hand to put the brakes on now.  When you start spoon feeding people, it's unrealistic to suddenly expect them to be self reliant. 

And don't even get me started on how the French shove their language up our ass, all the while rejecting the English language.  Why the f**ck do I have to have 3 French speaking channels on my cable package??  Where I live, less than 1% of the population is French, but I have to pay for channels I can't even watch.  Make the French special order and pay for those channels.

This is a pretty stupid argument relative to the current debate.  The issue is practicality, not morality. If in a country of 300 million, 290 million speak a particular language and 10 million don't, it makes a lot more sense for the 10 million to learn the dominant language than it does to expect the 290 million to accomodate them.  "Bilingual" nations don't work well, as they embrace no common culture.  I don't care if our national language is English, Spanish, or Swahili, but we need to pick ONE and everyone needs to speak it.  Obviously, English makes the most sense for this since it has by far the most native speakers.

arnold may not speak very good english or with enough of an american accent but he quickly learnt enough to communicate and understand to such an extent that he was able to become an american movie star, married to one of america's most famous families and become an american politician. he never lived like an austrian immigrant, but adapted 100% to american society.
