Good idea. I'd even go so far as to say to do some legs every day in addition to the 3x/week pounding. I'm no guru, but I know when I have a lagging part (shoulders, triceps) or something I'd like to grow more (legs, abs), if I do my "normal" stuff and every day do something for that part -- that part seems to grow a whole lot more.

So, for example, do your squats/presses/hacksquats on mon/wed/fri. Then on tue/thur/sat do 100 rep leg extensions...50 w/ feet wide/out and 50 w/ feet together.

And, when you do cardio, select the exercises that work your legs the most. Bike sucks. I like the stair-stepper that has actual physical stairs that rotate -- like an escalator with stairs -- NOT the normal stair-stepper because that's too easy to cheat on.

...do this, ESPECIALLY if you're doing any enhancers...even if you aren't, do it for a week or two every month.

Like I said, I'm no guru, but this sort of thing worked for me in the past...

Are you referring to what I wrote as "shock principle"? Cuz I didn't mean to write out any specific set of rules -- imo, those rules fuck people up more than anything.

Experiment with a lot of things. See what works for you. Do it until it doesn't work. Change until you find something that works again. Repeat.

Like, do a combo of HIT and Milos' style...where you do heavy squats coupled with 100 rep leg curls. Be creative...that's one thing the best trainers I've worked with all have in common. When you look at a bench press bench, you see 50 exercises, not just bench press.


Like, to make stubborn calves grow, you're supposed to do them for 6 straight days.  smaller bodyparts tho - like forearms, biceps, etc.  Not thighs or chest.

I'm actually heading to the library tomorrow, I'm gonna look for those 1992 style books and post some of the cool stuff from there.

Cuz my legs are big.
i don't know, yeah your legs are big but not huge, what i see there is just not giving the legs any chance to recover, my legs are sore for at least four days after i do 5 work sets of squats and 5 work sets of hacks.

Steve Reeves wasn't clean.

And Mike doesn't have good genes, plain and simple. His structure is horrible, but kudos to him for doing what he loves and I wish him luck.

Come on Camel. There is absoluteley NO evidence to back up that claim. Roids in bodybuilding didn't become wide spread until about 1962. Reeves last contest was in 1950.

In all seriousness I have nothing against you, however, your arguments regarding bodybuilding have not changed at all since even years ago when you and sarcasm were going at it. Your posts were actually entertaining then and some of your vids were pretty funny. Now your posts are old and repetitious and your attempts at correction of other posters' grammatical errors aren't anything solid either.

Anyways, best of luck hating on a sport you obsess over. ;D

In my opinion, fear of over training holds more people back than helps people along.

I see dozens of people in the gym who don't make progress talk to me about over training.  "I stopped squatting every week, because I'm scared of over training."
"I don't do too many drop sets, don't want to over train."

You can over train....but I think a lot of people who think they're over trained are just tired....from working hard!

we will get spray-tanned again later tonite...............
rest up,more posing,we are also restricting our water (1/2 gallon today
half of that tommorow)

i guess the camera was really shitty in the first few pics...because this one looks a lot better...its still not one day out conditioning but you have some lines in your quads and good seperation.  That scar in your abdominal region really detracts from your physique though...almost mistook it for loose skin or fat in the earlier pictures

looking good though...hope you place nicely!

BRING A THICK DICTIONARY TO PUMP UP YOUR CALFES BEFORE HITTING THE STAGE, DO 6 MINUTES NON STOP dictionary calf raises bare-foot. your gonna get 2 inches bigger calfes, for atleast an hour of the great pump. trust me son.

I did not personally.............. i wanted to come into this show depleted (because i was so far behind)

i was told i was wayyy to flat and to carb up today and tomorrow

honestly I'm thinking low-carbs tomorrow right up until the show

the carbs filled me out but i look a lot smoother as well]
it's a learning process......i learn something new every day about competitive bodybuilding
it fascinates me................I'm hooked!

I dont know for sure if this is true in your case, but sometimes it's a bad idea to listen to too many other people about your contest prep and diet.  Just a thought.
