160lb dumbells
« on: June 25, 2007, 01:07:34 PM »
I finally pressed those suckas today for 4 reps
first 2 reps unassisted    :D :D

that was after 115 for 12
130s for 10
145s for 6
then
those 160's heaviest dumbells in my gym
i start with my dumbells on my knee like coleman...
flip them back 130 up i get someone to bring me off the bottom then i press for the reps fro mysef.. No HANDS on elbows.. until failure
160..
not bad for a naturural.. low bf%

when i will rep out with higher reps i could do more reps on a slightly inclined bench, than on a flat bench. I always wondered why ?? (personal record on this where 29 reps with a pair of 52,5 kg/115 lbs, that`s 5 reps more than with the same weight on a flat bench).

Extremely impressive mes.

You're a fcuking tank LOL

You live in NY area right?

Why not seek out Dennis Cieri, arguably the best RAW natural benchpresser in the world, pound for pound.

He's 200 lbs, and could give you some suggestions on how to get to that final level (and also lure you into  competiting in benchpress  8)).

Yeh me too! I dont know why that is, whereas on barbell i bench a lot more flat than incline.

I'm sure without the extra/unnecessary reps (in bold), you would be able to get another rep or two (perhaps even more weight/reps) in your later sets. :)

Just do a few reps of each weight for a set. No need to waste your precious ATP stores and otherwise when the same can be achieved by other means.

wsup man... true i could cut those reps out...
but i like being nice and warm before i go heavier... sides that what i just pointed out is my workout not m going for a heavy
.. its not like i go in the gym and say yeah ima try 405 today... i just go with the flow.... after all that i do inclines.. barbell incline machines.. hammer strength.. sometimes with 5 plates..and flat hammer presses with 5 plates then flyes .. and cable crossovers.. i know its a lot but i like it.. it builds endurance and strength
but before the end of the year i will designate a day (prob my birthday)... cut down on the reps) and go or the 405.
thx for the shout out man
