Buzz me If you get the phone, I'll hook you up with TomTom 6.2 for Windows Mobile and all the map for US/Canada/Mexico(oh brother) and western europe.

That's great.  I liv ein Canada so need to find that phone.  I may end up buying it in the states and having it sent.

Funny you should say (oh brother) next to Mexico, I'm there next month in El Marques for work.  Those trips are brutal for me, no clue where the fuck I'm going.

I love the Blackberry Pearl and it's relatively inexpensive, great phone/pda. Once the cool factor wears off I think people are going to grow tired of using the touch screen for everything.

This whole iPhone mania is fueled by the success and hysteria surrounding the iPod. Before the iPod pretty much the only people using Apple products were artists or people working with media files. The amazing part is that even though the iPod is excellent it's still limited because of it's dependence on iTunes.

Whoever is responsible for marketing the iPod at Apple is a genius.

There were at least a 1,000 people lined up outside the Apple store 6 hours before it opened today to purchase one of more of the new phones.

They would allow a group of 20-30 customers in at one time and all the store employees would give a rousing cheer as each group entered.

And as individuals left the store with their new phone, the whole store would offer another rousing cheer.

They're keeping the iPod dependent on iTunes so they can gradually all turn us into "Mac" people without us even realizing it.  If you're used to using iTunes you're getting close to using the general OS X platform they use, so that eventually the next computer "PC people" buy will one day be a Mac.  Hell these days Microsoft is doing it for them by making their new windows more like OS X than like the old windows.

That's not a bad thing. Anything that points out Microsoft's inferiority is a positive. Windows sucks. Microsoft Word sucks. Internet Explorer sucks. Windows MovieMaker sucks. The only good thing about PCs is that I can get a 15-inch laptop for $500. Thanks Bill.

Is this phone dropable? For $600 and if it can't take a couple of drops, just not worth it...

I was thinking the same thing...I have dropped my cell phone at least 100 times in almost two years and have accidentally taken it into the pool three times. Still works great! Motorola i830.

My guess is you take the insurance option on the Iphone.

The hillarious thing is, you people don`t even need this kind of technology.  Nothing you people do warrants the purchase of these things.
Yet, you buy it up because you think you can find some sort of practical use for impractical gadgetry.
Either that or you think it compliments your fake muscles or recreational drug habits in the same semblance and reasoning you purchased such a phone in the very first place.

I will once you can justify your usage and need for an "Iphone".

I do understand this thing is marketed to people like you who THINK they need it, but really don`t.

Are you one of those fucks who goes to the supermarket, with headphones popping out of your ears, bobbing your head to Dido`s latest single as you push your chicken breast filled cart in unison to the beat.  If I remember correctly you are one of the morons who actually would PAY for song downloads.  Explain that to me please.

Obviously seems useless to you spending 20hrs a day online.

If one day you get a real professional job, you'll understand the benefit of being mobile.

Me.

You can't fight it, it's evolution throught convergence.

Why do you need a "blue ray" drive? Do you "need" that resolution?

Why do you need Adobe Creative Suite 3 ? Are you an artist?

Well I'm sorry, Adam.  I think the iPhone is something to be appreciated.  Is that not ok with you?

Good enough for me.  I just wanted you to realize that you don`t need it.

Is it fair to say that your daily activities consist of doing voluntary work for a lost cause, promoting your bad strcuture on wikipedia and trolling various boards, mainly this one?

Why do you feel you have to  bring the drug subject up?
