great so, being an expert and all you must do planche push-ups for 20 or 30 reps right?

i am no expert, just speaking from my own expirience. The Only versions of the push up I used to do were regular, diamond, incline, and handstand. After I stopped doing pushups and started lifting weights, about two years later I was able to do about 30% more reps at a body weight of 160lbs versus 133lbs which is what I used to weigh before I started lifting. I am now up to 180-185lbs and i am pretty sure I could do even more now. I still love to do different variations of the pullup and dips with added weight. I kind of use these two excercises to keep my BF% in check, a very rough measurement but the bottom line is that if my body weight keeps going up along with my strength in these movements then a good portion of the gains is muscle. For me, the only way to make a movement more challenging is by adding weight. I think that pull ups and dips are the most overall beneficial excercises for the upper body, with added weight.
