If you know anything about specific glucose (and glucose polymers) you would know that indeed YOU DON'T NEED blood for digestion...
It takes about 3 minutes for glucose to finds its way from your mouth to your bloodstream...
no i dont know anything about it thats why im asking. thanks for the answer.

I don't see where he's getting the "complete protein won't be absorbed, but 8 essential amino acids in isolation will be" thing from.  Unless there are numerous well-designed studies backing this up, it seems a bit spurious to me.

However, the concept of having nutrients in the bloodstream while the workout is happening and immediately thereafter does make a lot of sense. I'm just not buying the argument that a glucose/whey isolate combo wouldn't accomplish this.

Some carbs (starches) - amylopectin...amylose DO...but monomers, dimers and some polymers (glucose, sucrose, maltodextrin, Vitargo...etc) DON'T.

Milos, Vitargo is pure amylopectin... it is amylopectin from barley starch. In the past it was amylopection from waxy maize starch. It is incorrect to differentiate between Vitargo and amylopectin when they are one and the same.

Highmolecular weight glucose polymers like VITARGO is not amylopectin that I as refering to...
I was simply answering question he was asking about the CRABS in general...not just "supplemental carbs".

You don't see?
COMPLETE protein is COMPLETE as it contains all the essential aminos we are talking about...but as a protein it is a chain of at least 100 amino acids - and #1 needs time to be broken down and digested...(therfore taking TIME and BLOOD)...and#2 - releasing high amount of NONESSENTIAL aminos which WILL compete for the absorption...

Do little search and I am sure you'll find it...but better yet TEST for yourself and see what happens.

you dont need additonal blood or water in your gut to digest Vitargo or amylopectin if mixed with an ample amount of fluids upon ingestion to create the proper osmolarity rate as both are the same... they are amylopectin. amylopectin has a high GI index and is great for stimulating insulin. it's the ideal carb source to ingest during your workout... don't matter if you pay top dollars to buy Vitargo brand or if you go with much cheaper wazxy maize starch from national starch company.

FWIW - you guys should really look at Trueprotein's site, again if you haven't already. Put together your own blend of waxy maize + BCAA's or add in extra EAA or Leucine, reasonably priced too.

EXACTLY...
Vitargo IS FAST and will do the job just fine...and if you didn't see already - I wrote few articles about Vitargo and promoted for few years...
But, what I have realized IF we don't use HUGE amounts of GLUCOSE - than really Vitargo's benefits are not worth the price....

Vitargo is my choice if amount of carbs per serving exceed 100grams...
For this amount fast acting carbs in "my drink" I would certainly suggest VITARGO due to fast gastric emptying and beneficial osmolility...but if carbs are at 20-30-40-50-60 grams per serving than Glucose and/or Maltodextrin is JUST FINE but much less expensive!

He's definitely one of the pros who actually knows the science behind what he is doing.  I wrote a big article today on Milos in fact, but my FTP program seems to be not working.

Well, here it is...

Take bodybuilding magazines and look at the adds...Who understands WHAT is being sold?
Nano technology with pico precision of dormant muscle fibers which will be awaken using whatever pathway of genetically engineered keto molecules of nebulous's...

Today's pattern is: CONFUSE the consumer, serve them some high-tech terminology with spice of biochemistry - and expect them to try the supplement without asking HOW and WHY this supplement will really work...

I always stand behind my diets, training, supplements as I must elaborate HOW and WHY everything is going to work...

I wish MORE PEOPLE ASK QUESTIONS before they just blindly do whatever.

hey Milos i'm going to ask again, is 5 grams of BCAA's, 5 grams of creatine and 12oz. of grape juice a "decent" substitute for the during workout shake, i understand that you want people to purchase your formula but is that a decent substitute? how quickly do you recommend drinking it during the workout?

yes, squadfather, that is a very good substitute for the milos shake...just be sure to time it correctly. exactly 1 hour after your pre- workout cheesesteak ( fried onions and ketchup, of course)....and within 30 minutes of your post workout cherry garcia ice cream.......this way you can just fit it in with your existing diet....im here to help!
