So as you can see guys,

I was training Alex23 and he was making great progress.  He was up to 315 for 5 on Shoulder Press and nearly all the way dieted down.

I told him that I was done with helping since I wouldn`t have the time anymore.  He had a Meltdown and has hated me ever since.  He got really fat I assume, as evidenced by the pictures he now posts.

Shame really.

Hey man,
I asked you what shows you've done an how you placed?
I think you missed it when I posted.

Stavios - I didn't realize how big and wide your frame was.  Also, your wingspan must be at least 6'2.  I think you will be along the lines of Dennis Wolf if you choose to take it to that level.

He got really fat I assume, as evidenced by the pictures he now posts.

I am leaner than you here, and still had 30-40 lbs to lose.

lol.

You looked best in those pictures.  You still had a very low body fat percentage and had great size.  You may be more shredded now but also don't have the size you once did.  Also, how do you justify having below 5% body fat from a health perspective?  Surely, obesity is a problem, but being 10% body fat is by no means unhealthy.

You actually look to be about just as lean as he was in that comparison, the only difference is you are holding more water and he has a tan. You have great traps though, very "dilletesque"

Are you sure you haven't torn your biceps though? They look awfully short.

Please Research CRON and calorie restriction.  Please research low energy intake, minimum body fat/adiposity and its effects on disease prevention, longevity and health.  Please use scientific data.  You will then find that REALLY LOW bodyfat is optimal.

How is your 10% body fat in that picture not qualified as "REALLY LOW"?

You won`t get the CRON benefits such as disease prevention, viral protection, strengthened immune system at 10 percent bodyfat.

True Adonis-
Why are you ignoring my questions?
What shows have you done and how did you place?
I know I'm new and all but you don't have to ignore me.

You have never dieted all the way down in your life.  You have no ground to speak on.

It's hard to live where I am even at my current level of body fat.  I know that sounds like an excuse, but you would have to live in -40 weather in the winter to see what that's like at an ultra-low body fat before you make a judgment on my opinion.  Even right now at around midnight it is just over 60 degrees here.  Also, even you won't deny that you are stronger at heavier body weights, even when that weight is fat.  I would like my abs to pop out though, so I'm thinking of training abs regularly now.  I don't really have a desire to be a lot leaner than I am, although maybe a little, but certainly not contest condition year round which you seem to be advocating.  I plan to hit a 500 pound deadlift this year and I doubt I would be able to do that at under 160 pounds.  So I guess you could say you trade some quantity of life for quality of life.  I don't think there is anything unhealthy about that if done in moderation.

1. Wear a coat. (I don`t want to be cold is the lamest fucking excuse I have EVER heard for not dieting down.  Do you not have heat in your house?_

2. Deadlifting 500 lbs is not a great feat, nor will it provide you with any benefit.
3. You won`t see your abs at such a high bodyfat no matter how much you train your abs.

I just asked a simple question and he's being kind of a dick about it.
