SORENESS !

I just read a great post made by Vince Basile ( I know, that's an oxymoron  ;D ) concerning soreness after training a bodypart.

what do you guys think about it ? Personally if I am not sore the next day I trained a certain bodypart, I am pissed off and it make me think I trained like a pussy


but a lot of people say it should not matters and if you are not sore it doesn't mean you had a bad workout

i feel the same way. no soreness = no growth

rarely that im not sore after a workout though.

Yeah i fucking hate it when i don't have the soreness the next day. legg soreness can become irritating after a few days though, the day after when you step out of bed the incredible soreness makes you feel great about your training.

I am always sore ( or almost always)

I never do the same training twice

the only muscle that I don't ever remember being sore is the delts. I can blast the shit out of my delts they never get sore

I agree.  If im not sore for at least 2 days on a bodypart after working out then i feel like i didn't do enough.

feel the soreness more in the traps even if i havn't done shruggs. wierd

I'm the same.. delts are never sore and to a lesser extent arms rarely get sore.

yeah arms are a bitch, I have to go very heavy and hold the exentric part a lot to get them sore

since I included biceps curls on an incline bench, they are sore everytime

to beat the shit out of the triceps I like weighted dips with as much weight as I can put on and really slow lying dumbell extentions where I really strech them at the end of the movement


now they are sore almost every workout

I don't think you read his post properly, it seemed to indicate he is usually sore, i.e. his training is working at present. Unless you believe Vince Vasile... which was the man's point.

back allmost gets the most sore for me. especially lats. even hurts when i run and walk down stairs cause they jump  :P

Deadlifts make me sore.. But the soreness feels good sometime. Like when I drink and blaze a few joints, my sore lower back feels awesome.  ;D
