no he is not. this guy is working out every day and eating/living like a professional bodybuilder. and has been doign so for YEARS! since he was like 16.    he would be impressive for a natural that had been tlifting for two years. not 6, or whatever he is at now.

you are going to be greatly disappointed if you think you will be any bigger than him by his age, assuming you stay natural

i agree, the guy looks good and he's a strong dude, i don't see what people's problem is with him, he seems like a down to earth guy in the video.

He's intelligent and well studied in nutrition and training.  He has some ideas that differ from 'typical' bodybuilding ideas, and he is willing to argue his point.
I think he can come off as a bit arrogant with his knowledge.....and I say that with the utmost respect.   I think Layne is one of the most intelligent people in the industry.  It's not that he's arrogant, just very knowledgable and to the point with his information, and that can easilly be misconstrued as arrogance.

If no one knew who he was, no one would have a problem with him.  So, there's a positive to having people dislike you, I guess. lol

He knows his stuff, and can articulate it well....which can be tough when you're talking about a wide array of information.  He'd be tough to debate with.

I haven't listened, but I hear him and Palumbo have some good back and forth on the radio broadcast they did.

Id beat him on structure and still have more size.  I was 186 12%ish before i touched a roid without even a full year of training when i was 19.

Anyway....there are 3 clean guys that i know of at Jersey Shore in Bradley Beach NJ that i know would smoke layne and dont try 1/4 as hard at bodybuilding as he does.  One guy won a few shows.. i asked him hwo he dried out he replied... i just started drinking less water.  Doesnt know half the shit Layne does, but would absolutly beat him.  Next time i see them i could ask to take a pic with my cell, but it would probably sound pretty gay haha. There was a guy at that gym who would SMOOOKKKEEEE Layne AS IS WITHOUT DIETING who wanted to compete but i think his visa wore out in the US or whatever you call it and he had to leave, think he said he was african or something.

i know the following guys could also beat Layne:
- my cousin
- 3 or 4 guys at my gym
- a guy I went to school with

they are all bigger, stronger, lower bf, and all lifetime naturals and only train once a fortnight on their Total Gyms and eat whatever they want

don't have any pics though, sorry.

hahahaha, exactly because we all know 3 or 4 guys who don't train regularly, eat 1 can of Chef Boyardee ravioli a day and work 100 hours a week who can push 150 pound db's on flat benches, front squat 405, do 10 reps of lying extensions with 185 well below their heads like Layne can do. ::)

hahahaha, exactly, a few years ago i used to work with a skinny dude about 6'1" 150 pounds with tattoos who smoked a pack of marlboro's and drank about 8 20 oz. bottles of pepsi who said he used to fight in the cage after he got back from "the Bosnian war" ;D hahahahahaa, i used to embarass the shit out of him when the owner of the company would come out, i'd say, "hey Chris, who would you say was hands down the toughest dude you ever fought in the UFC" hahahah, he would always come up with some bullshit story.

You don't even know Layne, yet you KNOW he's using slin/igf/hgh/test.  He's a 25 yr old college student.  Wake the fuck up.

You belong to the mainsteam "audience" , believing that the tour de france is all nature when doping controls are done.

As far as lifetime natties go, Norton looks like crap next to the other life-time nattie La Cour.

And I wont be surprised if Norton uses even more "supplements" than La Cour...

Morons, your bus is leaving.  This isn't the Team Universe where guys can get an ifbb pro card.  Your saying a 25 year old grad student is using hgh, test and insulin.  Do you know how stupid that sounds. There are millions on the line in the Tour de france.  1st place in a NGA pro show might get $1000.

like "layne is in grad school, when i was in grad school i had time to do more shows"....whaaaaaa.....he knows what is coming

Let me ask you something.  What evidence do you have that he is using?  Just specualtion based on your own jealousy?  You don't know him.  You don't know anything about him.  You don't know anything about bbing.  You're not a bber.  Do some guys who do natty shows use?  Yes, i've known some.  Layne isn't one of them.

most people using gear aren't doing it to win $$millions, trophies, endorsement contracts, etc.  They're juicing up because they are insecure.

Hope that helps.

It doesn't, becasue that wasn't the foundation of my argument.  I just thought it was funny that some guys who's probably just seeing Layne pic for the 1st time, thinks he's on slin and hgh.

i don't have evidence that he's using. while we're at it i don't have evidence that ronnie coleman or jay cutler are using either.

read my initial post on the matter. show me where it was speculating or showed any hate or jealousy towards the man?

i have and do commend mr norton. as i said in that post, i think he has great discipline to do what he does. i would never be jealous of norton because, as you state, i am not a bber, but in any case i can only be inspired by him. i think he's a credit to the sport and i wish him every success.

BUT...i have been around long enough to know that when an athlete (notice how i didn't say bber) says something, especially publically i tend to take it with a fraction of a grain of salt, especially someone as intelligent and politically correct as layne.

that's because athletes don't tend to tell the world what peds they take, especially if they're bbers...competing in tested shows.

now i just can't see this conversation taking place:

journalist: "so layne, what drugs do you take?"

layne: "oh, i take some slin, gh, igf 1, t3, clen, ephedrine, anapolon, test suspension and winstrol/primobolan...oh, are they hand cuffs? i'm going where? i don't understand. does this mean i don't get to compete and all my business contracts are null and void? shit, will my family and friends find out about this too?"

but hey, if you're attached to layne's nut sack 24/7 then i stand corrected. ::)
