Don't have any favorite stuff to wear. Usually a practice squad jersey (SD Chargers..absorbs sweat great) & sweat pants. Bare footed for most of my workouts. For me better gripping strength and feel, probably comes from being a surfer    Martial arts slippers at times, though hard to get the right size. Also wear lifting straps on occasion and lots of bar chalk or powder. Good Luck.

I wear shorts which show my legs.  The starter kind from Wal-Mart.  Never believed in the ultra short nor the ultra long, as the former seems gay and the latter seems to hide under developed legs (chicken legs!).  Usually a champion tank top and some new balance shoes.  Thinking of adding "Shut Up and Train" tee though hahahaha

amen to that. i get a laugh when i see guys in the gym with sandals or flip-flops on. all i want to do is drop a 45 lb plate on their foot to make them thing twice. you have to think they have it coming though.

Unless you workout in steel toed RedWings, with a strap on arch guard, dropping a 45 on one's foot is not going to make that much of a different barefooted or not. Those $130 cross training shoes will not help at all.   Though you may look cool in them while being rushed to the nearest ER room. And their going to cut them off anyway due to your foot swelling to twice it's normal size.. Even in reinforced RedWings, some foot damage is going to happen. Good luck.

Shoes would also help alot in avoiding stubbed toes and make balance easier IMO.

Of course if anyone only worked with a BowFlex they would not have that problem with those nasty 45's. Good Luck.

or doing mind boggling weights with your training buds for inch and a half reps in the power rack, i mean shit with the bar being supported by metal pins instead of muscle mass dropping weights should be no problem. Good Luck.

Usually a Safe Usa T or a Inzer T.  Usually wear camo cargo shorts for everthing except squating and deadlifting, then it's the addidas shorts.  I usually wear my Nike shocks unless I'm Squating or deadlifiting, then I use the flat sole converse.  I've always had a fear of one of those "Shox" giving out mid set.
