There are a few guys over 6', and several guys at a "normal" 5' 10" or 5' 11".

That said, I guarantee the average height of pro bodybuilders is several inches shorter than the average height of the general population.

Yeah hs is 5'6" that article was good, I am glad they did not seem to butcher it up like the media does sometimes.

That's a much better article than that metro pulse piece a while back. About the only thing the metro pulse is good for is lining your dog cage or whipping your rear with if you're out of toilet paper. I'm surprised it took the sentinel that long to run a story on them, actually. I figured they would have done so about 7 or 8 months ago.

I give them a hard time sometimes but they are good for Knoxville overall. Anything that makes people here more health conscious can't be a bad thing. I've said some things to them I regret saying but you can't go back in time and take things back. Everybody does stupid stuff.

I grew up in Blount County but moved to Knoxville when I was 19. Been here for 10 years this summer.

Did you ever met big Dave Dixon at the West Rush? Dave is freaking HUGE! His height works against him but he's probably the biggest "muscular" guy around here. Dave's probably 6' or 6'1". Peter is the thickest guy around here, though. Has by far the best legs and arms around here (that I've seen anyway).

Putnam can't be serious can he? "It is no worse in bodybuilding than it is in track and field, baseball or any sport.” In bodybuilding, whether it is at a local NPC show or at the nationals, if you aren't on drugs you aren't even on stage.

National YES, however I myself just qualified for the Nationals winning an Open class drug free. But yeah that quote is WAS over the edge. I am sure Bonds and Ben Johnson were both on 5+ compunds and up to 3 grams of test a week

The difference is just that bodybuilding doesn't test. If others sports didn't test either, it would be the same across the board. People just don't want to get caught.
