the savate episode was average. I like the show but the hosts are jokes.
it's actually getting better. The pankration episode was good. bill has a habit of hitting people in the face LOLI don't really like how they say they are fighting a champ after a week of training. They should call it a sparring session. Krav Maga should be good.
I'd go with Ju-jitsu as the most effective martial art - if you look at the early days of UFC before they introduced all the "rules" guys that were schooled in Ju-Jitsu were winning everything.

Hey, is this show now called "Fight Quest"? I saw a preview for it, and it show the two hosts of Human Weapon.
The two American hosts, with backgrounds in other martial arts, go from one Asian country to another to try their different martial arts. They split up, each going to train with a different school. After a few days, they meet again and fight the baddest fighters they can find of that martial art. After 4 days, the two hosts (one trained under GM Vasquez of Modern Arnis and the other trained under Tuhon L.Gaje of Pekiti Tirsia) fought two battle-hardened Force Recon Marines. The matches were sticks, knife and empty hand, with only 60 seconds per match. Here were the rules of the climactic fight with the Marines:Sticks - 1 round only, 60 seconds duration. Headgear and gloves only. Drop the stick 3 times, you lose the match. All parts of the body can be struck. Referee decides the winner.Knife - Marking knives were used. Just 1 round, 60 seconds duration. No protection. Hits to the face and head are to be avoided. Everything else can be hit. Winner is determined by marks on their clothing and referees decision.Empty hand - Striking only, no grappling. 1 round, 60 seconds
