Most elite gyms in Bulgaria have "cold rooms" where the athlete's can take brief naps between sets.

Seriously, every now and then I do 10 sets of 10 with a 30 second rest a la Vince Gironda and that shit will mess you up.

I use a lot more than 90 pounds though  8)

10 reps with 90 pounds?  I thought I was reading that incorrectly the way he went on about how hard it was.  Because most people here would use 900 pounds for 10 reps.  In any event, he's a weak little girl who metlsdwn at the drop of a hat.  Don't worry though he will be back using a gimmick acct.

BTW, if you were using serious weight doing 10 sets of 10 you would acutally be over training.  Some people will beleive anything they read.

I hit 10 sets of 10 at 225-255 to finish my squat routine after 4 heavy sets about once a month.  You will hardly be able to walk 2 days later if you finish it off with a solid routine afterwards (extensions, lunges, curls, etc.).
