Now I'm confused, Squad. Anyway, my arms are about 17 1/4 now that I am in shape. Off-season the left is 18 1/4 and the right is 18. Oddly, even when I was on AAS they never got much bigger. Only my strong points like chest, shoulders, and quads kept growing even though I trained everything equally hard.

My arms haven't been 14 inches since I was about 16 years old, and I turn 38 next month. At this point, I would be more than happy to get them up to 19 off-season, 18 in shape.
i've got my doubts about your arm size Ron to be honest, like i said you've got a good build but your arms look nowhere near that big.

Actually, what makes my arms look small is their LACK OF SIZE! LOL

The arm measurements I said are true. If I were going to lie, I would at least say they were 19 - everybody and their grandmother on the Internet claims their arms are at least 20 these days.

sure beats Romano's physique... It's good to see a writer who writes as well as trains.

Does the arm look any bigger here? Regardless, they are a little over 17 now, which isn't very big at all.

The last time I touched a steroid, and it was a 6-week cycle of 50 mg oral Winny a day plus 75 mg tren EOD, was Feb of 2006. I stopped the cycle a few days before the Arnold Classic, which I attended. All these photos were taken in the last month. I am currently preparing for the NPC Natural Colonial Cup and anticipate being at the very top of the LH class, 198 1/4. In all these shots I weigh between 200-203 pounds and have indeed been drug-free for over a year, as per the stipulations of NPC tested events. By no means do I claim to be a 'natural bodybuilder,' since I did use steroids.
Really good shoulders and chest ,when i am lean and vascular im about 220 at 6ft but if i tried to attain your conditioning id be crushed (EGO)in dropping the weight to be stage ready.
Alex has certainly underestimated you, ;D congratulations you look awesome

haha, no they look pretty small in this pic as well!

I have the same problem ron. Im 5'9 190lbs, but I have really long arms, so its hard for me to pack some meat onto them. I dont know if this is ur problem or not, but it sux havin skinny arms, especially when everything else looks good.

Ron, why have you decided to stop using Steroids?  Is this for good, or just some time off?

Thanks Flexington. BTW, 240 iis dead on when he says that the mags are targeted at a fairly unsophisticated average American male, 18-25, that probably doesn't read much higher than an 8-th grade level.

If you want to see what my 'real' writing is like, PLEASE check out some of my short horror stories here:

no offense to you Ron...But 3/4 of the guys that write over on MD also fall into that 8th grade level...Of course not yourself or Romano...And as far as DA, that man has to be some where at the elementry level...

By the way you look great...Hugh quad as always

Hey Ron,

whoever said you can't write is full of bs. Your articles are the best ones in MD. Also you seem to be improving so keep up the good work and gl and the competition.

Ach, I decided to stop using AAS for several reasons.
1) Didn't want to risk legal trouble
2) What was the point? Not like I am a pro bb and make a living from my physique (not that many of them do either)
3) Health risks, especially long term
4) Expense
5) They never worked that well for me anyway
6) Got tired of being on the merry-go-round - making gains, losing some of them, over and over

Ron, your arms look about 13 1/2 inches in that video.  How much are you weighing there ? 145 pounds ?   You need to invest in some protein powder.

Look good Ron...interesting to read about why you stopped AAS

Regarding your arms, do you feel they saw any benefit from the 'DOGGCRAPP' Training?

how tall are you ? seriously you look about 160 pounds tops.  Sort of like one of those might mites that are 5-4 135 and ripped.

Ron,

What is your honest opinion of grown men who wear daisy dukes and/or untied work boots to the gym?

Hopefully these pics will at least clear up the issue of my height or lack thereof:
Heidi Fletcher is 4-11. Even Centopani is 5-11, and Jay Cutler is 5-9.

Daisy Dukes - very questionable - unlaced boots: dangerous! Tie the laces, at least.

If it helps, I never claimed to have a great physique and never would say that. Obviously if that were the case I would have won a lot of shows by now instead of taking a whole lot of second and third places over the years. I've done a lot with the genetics I was given, which were average at best. People relate to me more than the pro's a lot of the time because they know nothing came easy for me.
